Braden and Aura talk

Aura and Jax pull into the car park, Aura sees Braden getting out of the black SUV they both see each other and lock eyes. Aura feels herself going into a trance like state Braden said to Ace "We are so lucky to have such a beautiful mate!" Ace said, "I carnt wait to meet her." Braden tells him not to get ahead of himself they still have to talk to her.

Jax pulls Aura out of her trance by tapping her arm she jumped and ask "what's wrong?" he explained she and Braden had just been standing there looking at each other for five minutes, and either one of them noticed their friends was trying to talk to them.

As the bell rang everyone started getting up and leaving the class, Braden noticed Aura was still sitting at her desk so he thought now or never he walked over to sit on the chair beside her, he introduced himself " Hi I'm Braden soon, I mean hi I'm Braden Black please to meet u." she looked over and said, "Hi I know who you are, we meet the other day after I bumped into u in the hall." They sat in the canteen for while then had to move on, so they went and sat on the benches and spoke to each other for the rest of the afternoon both of them had free periods and their friends all had classes. When the bell rang for the end of the day, Braden walked Aura to her car they both swapped numbers and he said he will text her later, as they got their car Jax was standing there and he didn't seem very pleased to see them both together they said their goodbyes. Braden thanked Alex and said, "We will talk more when we get back to the packhouse."

In the car with Aura, Jax looked at her and asked "What do you see in Braden?" she says "He makes me feel safe and I don't know why I'm so drawn to him." The rest of the way home they were both quiet, as she pulled into the driveway Jax got out of the car without saying a word and walked to his house. Aura stood there frozen he has never treated her like this before, she shook her head and walked into the house where her mom was sitting on the couch, she went an sat down beside her and told her about her day and how she and Braden spent all afternoon talking and getting to know one another she told her mom " I've never felt like this to anyone like I do when I see Braden." her mom is happy that she has met someone and tells her "Follow your heart, my sweet girl." Aura also tells her what Jax said and did and how angry and confused she was her mom replied "Jax could be feeling like he is being pushed out, or he has feelings for you." this made Aura laugh and she said " I could never look at Jax romantically, he is like a brother to me yeah I love him but only as a sister would love her brother." her mom said "You need to tell Jax that so he doesn't get the wrong impression, and he also doesn't have any rights saying who you can be with," Aura says "Thank you mom." and kisses her on her cheek then heads upstairs to her room.
