Lonis Pov
As I sit next to my father’s body covered in his blood, I feel broken, I can’t stop looking at his pale face.
A scream breaks through my shock and I look up to see my mother and lily standing across from me. Lily’s face is drawn and her eyes are filled with unshed tears but then I see the horror in my mother’s face as she runs to my father and lays her head on his chest as she screams and cries.
I can see that she has raised a water shield around her and my father, but it falters quickly, and the water falls to the ground like tears. It’s rare I see my mother use her magic as it reminds her of her water fae roots and makes her sad but often magic is based around emotions and her heart break is clearly immense.
