Chapter 14
Astra’s pov
All there is, is darkness. I feel like I’ve been walking for hours but it’s just nothing.
I don’t remember what happened or where I am, but the feeling of immense sadness and heartbreak brings a flicker of light in the distance.
“Loni?”
I run towards the flicker I can feel that Loni needs me, but I’m stuck here, wherever here is. Anger blooms inside me as the need to get to Loni grows and grows. The anger starts to consume me, and I can feel a warmth spreading through my body, a flash of electrifying pain brings me to a sharp stop and I fall to my knees as I try to breathe through it.
My hands begin to tingle, and they spark with magic, this never happened when I practised with Dr Grey but he did say that my magic would grow.
