Cassandras pov
Drinking the potion was by far the most disgusting thing I have ever drank but the feeling as the potion took over my body was the scariest.
When I first heard about this potion it was from my father, but he didn’t go into details and I really wish he had.
Ice cold spread over my entire body so cold it felt like it was burning, the pain ramping up every few seconds until I felt myself screaming into the emptiness. Just as quick as it started it stopped and left me feeling empty and light, light enough to float away like I wasn’t tied to my body anymore. I lay there for a moment enjoying the feeling what if I just let go now and floated on for ever, no more fighting, no more stupid people just me alone in silence?
