Chapter Nine: Lock-picking Tom stood at the arrivals meeting area scanning the exiting passengers with suppressed excitement, though it was hard to tell from merely looking at him. He’d considered wearing his disguise, but had decided against it. He was going to be straight with Melissa. Any hint of subterfuge would be detrimental to the whole exercise, and to any hopes of a relationship. He couldn’t afford to screw up this time. She’d never trust him again if he did.
