Chapter Ten: Lack Of Suspicion The next morning, Melissa was ordering breakfast at her favourite KFC when she heard a woman speaking English struggling to ask for the menu. The woman’s dress was expensive, matching her sunglasses and Jimmy Choos. Melissa offered, “Here, let me help.” She did her usual thing with the usual staff, drawing a rectangle in the air. A menu was produced at once, accompanied by a smile. “Thanks!” said the woman as Melissa took her tray, calling, ‘ShiShi’ to the familiar face behind the counter.
