Sunday has flown by, but now that she thinks about her dinner date with Liz, she feels goosebumps on her arms. This was due to the way Liz touched her cheek and said in her confident way that they would have dinner tonight. She'd been avoiding Liz for the most part, partly because she found the whole situation intense, but also because she's not quite sure what to do with the feeling she gets every time Liz looks at her. In addition, Liz always gives intense looks and she never deviates her eyes... This always gave her a warm feeling. What was not too bad for her is that, wherever she was, Liz didn't stand out and always blended in with the environment. She kept her tough, somewhat boyish style and therefore did not resemble the standard bodyguard. When she heard Liz at her room door on Saturday night, she felt guilty and in that moment decided to try a little harder. "And what mess have I led myself into now?" she says sighing in front of the mirror in her room. Because here she was, getting ready for dinner and not quite sure what to wear. She also didn't want to send the wrong message… She was suddenly startled by a knock on the door and Liz's voice saying; "Don't overthink it, you're home and you always look beautiful. Dinner is almost ready, I'll see you soon" and then she hears her walk away. "Oh god" she thinks and she feels her cheeks turn red. “that woman's self confidence is going to be my downfall..” And she turns around and walks to the kitchen. Once in the kitchen she smells wonderful scents and sees that the table is set. Next to a plate she sees a glass with red wine. "I saw that you had drunk this wine before and thought you would like it now" she hears Liz say through her thoughts. She turns and sees her standing there, she is wearing mom jeans with a black shirt on it. Around her arms it is a bit tighter which makes her muscles visible. Her hair is messy but oh so sexy.. She feels her mouth go dry but still manages to say "Thank you and what about you?" "I'm more of a whiskey drinker" she says with a grin as she raises her whiskey glass. "I'm no miracle in the kitchen but I tried my best. I usually succeed in pasta so I hope you like it" She looks Liz in the eye and says defiantly, "So why not sit down at the table?" Where she winks and raises her wine glass to her mouth. As she does this she sees something in Liz's eyes change. What is it she sees? lust? Quickly she shakes her thoughts away and sits down at the table.
