The Queen

Chapter 3

From then on Zephanaiah and King Zachariah met almost three times a week in the garden. King Zachariah always asked for Zephanaiah's advice and it's help him a lot specially in making decisions. He also listen on Zephanaiah's advice to trust God and it's really working. He felt like the pressure isn't as heavy before. Yes the pressure is still there but right now it's not heavy as before. And he thank God for giving Zephanaiah to him. He know that Zephanaiah is the right girl for him. He know that she's the girl that he will going to love for the rest of his life, he just need to wait until the day comes that he will tell the whole kingdom that she will be the Queen. Yes he's planning to make her the Queen, she's different from others and he love her.

"Why are you looking at me like that my king?" Zephanaiah asked innocently.

"My Queen is really innocent." The King said to himself. He smiled to her and said. "Tommorow I'll finally choose who will be my Queen ." He said seriously. "Do you want me to choose you?" He asked her still serious.

Zephanaiah really want the King to choose her but he also want the King to choose whoever he like and she doesn't want the King to choose her because she said so.

"No. My King I want you to choose whoever you like and I don't want you to choose me because I said so." She said honestly, although she know deep down her heart she want the King to choose her not because of his wealth but because she love him. Yes she fell in love to the King within those 6 months that they are spending time together here in garden. She fell in love how amazing and fair King he is.

The King held hair cheek lovingly then said to her sweetly. "Go and rest to your chamber tommorow is a big day." He sweetly said while caressing her face.

She nodded her haid then said sweetly. "Don't stress your self my King." She once again smiled to him then leave.

Finally the day has come. King Zachariah will finally choose his future Queen. Many women are excited and they are hoping that King Zachariah will choose them to be a Queen. One of them is Zephanaiah. She's excited and at the same time nervous.

Scarlet advice Zephanaiah the right jewelry to wear and as well as the right clothes to wear to emphasize more her beauty. She also advice what perfume will King surely like. Zephanaiah followed all Scarlet advice, from jewelry to her perfume.

Zephanaiah and the other women were finally brought to the King to bagin the election of the new Queen.

All the people of this kingdom are present. They are excited to know who will be the next Queen.

"I'm excited to know who is the next Queen!" One of the people excitedly said.

"I bet Jewel will be the next Queen." One of the people said then she rolled her eyes. Looks like they doesn't want Jewel to be the next Queen.

Jewel is from noble family, well she's a spoiled brat that's why some of people doesn't like her. She has a rude attitude and she's also obsessed on King Zachariah.

"I rather have Eury as a Queen than her." One of the people said. They surely didn't like Jewel.

People still talking about the next Queen but they immediately cut off when one of the wise man said.

"Today our King Zachariah will finally choose his Queen" Shetar announced it to people. The people begone to cheered. Their so happy that finally their having a queen.

"Quite!" Ozni silenced the people. "As you can see this maidens in front me are the candidates for the Queen and one of them is the new Queen. So let's not waste our time here is King Zachariah will finally choose his Queen now." Ozni announced it and the people got wild again.

"Silence!" The King said with full of authority. The people immediately silenced and wait for the next word of their King.

"Where is Zephanaiah?" The King said seriously. The people start to confuse.

"Huh? Who's Zephanaiah?" One of the people said. They are shock by their King's word and confuse about Zephanaiah. The people started whispering to each other. Their asking who is Zephanaiah?

Zephanaiah on the other hand are shock why the King are calling her. She's on the last row and other maidens are covering her so the King can't see where she is.

The King once again said. "Where's Zephanaiah?" He's beginning to lose his patient now.

"I'm here my King." Zephanaiah said shyly then she stepped where the King could see her. She's red as a tomato now.

People are shock by her beauty and begone to whisper how beautiful she is. Her beauty is truly breathtaking.

"Why are you their My Queen? You should be here at my side." King said lovingly then he motioned her to come to him.

Zephanaiah slowly approached the King. When Zephanaiah finally reached the King. King Zachariah wrap his arm around her waist possessively then announce to everyone their new Queen.

"Queen Zephanaiah your new Queen!" The King announced happily then she held Zephanaiah's face then kiss her cheek.

The people started to cheer for their new Queen and how beautiful she is while Zephanaiah still can't believe what is happening.

The King laughed at her then said lovingly. "You're so red my Queen." Zephanaiah's face became red even more.

"I didn't expect this my King." Zephanaiah shyly said. 

The King held her cheek lovingly then said. "It's Zachariah for you My Queen." He said lovingly the kiss her cheek.

While on the other hand Jewel are very mad. She thought that she's the one who should be the Queen. She's the only one who deserve to be a Queen and King Zachariah is only her. King Zachariah belong only to her.

"That Zephanaiah b***h will surely pay." Jewel said angrily then take her leave.

King Zachariah held a great feast to honor Zephanaiah the new Queen. All people are invited to the feast and King Zachariah give

many gifts to his people. To show how happy he is right now.
