In Love With My Son-in-Law

All is over

.Ophelia POV.

I thought it over and I thought that the best thing was at least to confront Mathias and have him to tell us why he has been doing all that he had been doing .

“Are you sure about this ?”Rio asked me as we stood at the door to Mathias’ house.

“Not exactly sure but I think this is the better thing to do compared to what you had actually proposed.” I responded .

“Okay , I hope for the best .” he replied and then raised his hand a little tapping on my shoulder as a sign to comfort me . indeed his tab always has a way of comforting me some how and also being able to somehow sooth me in one way or the other .

We knocked once again and this time around we had some one approach the door and then opened the door in one swift . The look that he flashed us was that of total shock . it was clear that he did not expect to see us at his house at that time.

“What are you two doing here?” he asked us nervous as he took the first step back into his house . Rio in consequence took a step towards him in away to confront him but I got hold of his hand and so he did not move any more.

“Don’t confront him , he is snot worthy .”I said to him looking up to his eyes. His eyes actually softened at the words that I had told him and he retreated .

Mathias stood in one position as well. I could not believe he had actually chose to treat us in the way that he did . I never had any problem with him before since I am always busy doing one thing or the other .

“Can we come in ?” I asked him politely but deep down in me I detested him with passion for all that he had done to me . To all that he had made Rio and I go through . I wanted to hear everything from his mouth.

“Oka…y …come in .” he said stammering .

The two of us got into his house him coming after us and then closing the door behind us . it was the first time that I had been here . it was a mediocre kind of living room and the content of everything shown that he actually lives here all alone.

We moved and sat on one of the couches . he however did not sit down but remained standing with his hands akimbo .

“What the hell made you trespass and did all that you did?” Rio hit the nail on the head . He did not wait for any answer before he stood up and in one swift had held Mathias by the collar.

“What the hell are you even saying ?” he stated. He was ogling like he really was meaning what he was saying but of course I knew that he was wrong.

“What the hell are you talking about ? We are not here to play hid and sneak . We are here to know why you cant mind your business. You go on sneaking around doing so much like videos and all that . Don’t you have better things to do .”

“I swear I am going to kill you if you don’t tell me why you did all that .”I had never seen him this way at all. He was so angry and yet at the same time I was worried about what he could do. What if Mathias used us about intruding in his house .

“Go on , tell me why you did that ?”

“Who pays you ?”

“I swear I will do so much to you if you don’t go on and tell us everything .’’Rio went on to threaten him .

“Okay , okay . The fact is I just wanted to get some money from you . In fact I found out that the two of you can make some good money for me . I swear I can tell you that fact that I was never going to do it at all. I just wanted to threaten you .” Mathias lamented . He went ahead and told us about how the idea just got into his head that real day and this did all that he did .

After explaining everything and forwarding all sorts of photos that he had already , I was relaxed and convinced that this was all done . I was finally feeling so lively . The pressure of possibly losing my baby was no more.

I had not thought that something of this kind could happen to me at all . But here I was feeling a bit relaxed but that was not the case with Rio , I swear he did not at one point feel relaxed at all . To him this was not the end of it .

“Why could we really believe that what you are telling us is actually what is right .” doubtful Rio questioned.

“I don’t have anything to say to say but the fact is what am telling you is alright and is what is the right thing .”

By the end we had that finished and solved, I was the happiest person on planet earth . I swear I almost skipped like a baby on our way back to the house.

“I am so happy that this is all finished.” I could not help it . The excitement was surely killing me .

“Come here .”Rio told me opening his hands for me . I did not give it even a second to think about it any more . I ran straight to arms like it was a normal thing for me to be hugged like this by my son in –law. Strangely , I was each time getting more comfortable in the arms if my son in law.

It was not the first thing this thing was happening to me. These feeling was even getting more mutual than what they were actually meant to be.

“I told you that I was going to finish this . I started it and I indeed had to finish it.”

“I am more than grateful.” I replied as I pulled away from the hug but he did not get away completely .He infact still had his arms around my waist.
