I looked on eagerly as Rio talked with some one that I was not aware who was on the other side of the phone. He told me he was talking to some one who was going to help solve this problem . Actually one who is a computer hacker and therefore can be able to find out who has been sending us all the messages .

However it had been some minutes him working with a phone on his ear as welllas him getting buried into my laptop doing I don’t know what . The fact was I was actually so nervous and anxious. I needed to know what was actually going on.

After some time , he finally was done with that . He put his phone away and then turned towards me .

“Say something , you are surely making me more scared. What is the progress? Have you got any progress?” I asked all those questions all at once without giving him any chance to say anything between the questions.

He moved away from the seat that he was sited and then moved towards me taking the place opposite me .

‘Look , Ophelia .You don’t need to get worried about anything at all . I am telling you that all is going to be okay .’ I swear I liked the fact that he was bold and confident but in the state that I was in , it was actually the quality that lacked in the whole of my body .

I was not bold like him . I feared for what could happen if at all Amara came to know about this at all . That could be the scandal of the century as well as leave me as the most miserable human on this planet earth.

“Just tell me what the progress is ?” that was actually the only thing that I actually needed at this time . I needed answers .

“Yes , I told you that we could solve this .” damn it ! what was he really up to . He was not helping at all . I thought he could be straight forward and tell me everything . He is rather doing so good in making my heart pump even more as well as making the racing of my blood get more crazy .

“Please Rio , tell me everything . I am more than sure that you know the situation that I am in right now .” I was losing it even more now.

“We have got the location of where these actions must have been conducted.”

“What !” I yelled so excited – and once again like what I have done some time back , I ended up in his arms . What the hell was wrong with me and why was I doing all these in the first place .

He was also not a ‘selfish’ person. He hugged me tightly. This time I did not last for even a minute since I quickly realized that what I was doing was wrong.

“I am so sorry , I was not meant to do that . I was actually just excited and that was how I ended up in your arms .” I tried to justify myself but his facial expression shown the fact that it was actually not important at all.

I stood up to head to a destination that I did not have an idea about. It was just the state that I was in that was making me opt to run away from him but this time it seemed like he was not going to let that happened. Something happened that nearly made my heart stop pumping due to the frozen state that I was in at the moment.

As I took the first step …the second and then, the next thing that I knew was the feel of a pair of strong arms around my waist . I swear my legs instantly stopped moving . I could not take even a single step even when I thought that I wanted to.

“You don’t have to run away .” that husky voice intrigued the whole of my body . I felt like something was happening to my body but I could not just put a name to it .

“Running away is not health for you . I am right next to you to do everything for you which includes comforting you .” he went on to whisper to me as though there was a third person in the room whom we did not want to hear what he was actually saying .

I felt him get closer to me to the point that his front was now pressing on my back . Gosh! I could even feel my son in –law’s hard on press into me and yet I did not do anything to stop this and show him that what we were doing was f*******n in all different ways .

It was a shame that I was actually liking all that he was doing to me without even thinking about the fact that it was all wrong. He did something else, he slowly rested his head on my shoulder to the point that I was now sniffing his cologne.

“All is going to be okay .”

“I caused all this and I have the responsibility to see you out of it .” each word that was getting out of him was so soothing to me . it was actually making me feel like how I felt twenty years ago when I was actually still in high school .

During those times when I was actually so much in love- Did I say when I was still in love ? what did I insinuate by that surely . That was not supposed to me . Never was it supposed to be me . And yet I was not doing anything to stop this and show him that what we were doing was wrong and not supposed to happen at all .

In fact I was actually adding salt in the wound.

“Pleas…

“It’s okay . Just remain here with me for just a bit longer .” he did not let me finish what I was saying . I automatically did what he wanted me to do . it was like he had put a spell on me and so I was ending up doing everything that he wanted me to do .

I remained still and did not make a single movement as we remained in this compromising yet so heart soothing position until when his phone chose to ring .

Since he had placed on the couch , he had to pull away so that he would go and pick it up . However he seemed not to want to pick it up . in fact it first rang for three consecutive times but all in vain as he seemed not to be ready to pick up .

“You need to go and pick up . That call most surely be important for some one to insist and ring so many time .” I tried to persuade him .

“It better be or else they will have to pay for ruining my moment .” he said angrily pulling away from me completely and then moving sluggishly to pick up the ringing phone from the couch . I stared at him all this time. Of course I was completely at sea. I did not know what to think any more .

Plus I did not know what I was doing any more . Things that were happening plus words that were being said by him was a enough to get me to that situation . To a state that I can maybe explain as full of guilty , anxiety as well as excitement all combined at the same time.

However his facial expression changed into something I can call tender and soft just as he got hold of his phone .

“it is Amara.” He informed me as the phone continued to ring . I felt so uneasy . What if my daughter is at the door? What actually has seen the two of us almost in a cuddle … damn it ! so much rushed into my mind at the same time.

God what was wrong with me ?Why was I suddenly beginning to do things that I know that they are wrong and yet I end up doing the same things .

“Yes, honey . I am okay .”

“Yes , I will be there soon .”

“Love you too.” Those were the replies that he made with the conversation that he was having with my daughter . I just stood there hands akimbo looking on until when he was done .

“That was Amara.” He told me the obvious. It was as if it was an obligation that he was making to me.

“Of course I would tell.” I replied. Damn it ! I did not even know where I removed all the anger when I was making that reply. My mind had totally shifted from what I was supposed to be thinking about . I hated to admit it but I was now thinking about things that I was not supposed to think about at all.

Right now , if I was not mistaken the tormentor was about to send a photo of the way Rio hugged me tightly from the back . I knew that it was wrong but then I did not do anything to stop it so that I could at least stop a next scandal that was actually coming up very soon.

“He has a date reserved for us this evening and she wants me to keep time.” He went a head to give me the details of the call.

“I think you have to get going . Don’t you have anything to do at the hospital this afternoon ?” I knew that this was the right thing for me to do and trust me it was what I was doing now.

“No no, Ophelia . You know I am not going to do that at all. I cant leave you in this .”he said and then moved towards me putting his hand on my cheek caressing it a little.

“Let me do this .” he said this in a voice that I surely could not explain what it was meaning at all.

I nodded my headed automatically before I had even finished to master what was going on exactly . He helped me to sit down and him siting next to me –once again.

“I think it is time for us to look at the results that my friend has sent me .”He said as he opened the laptop once again so that we would look at the email that my friend had sent us .

When we opened to check the results , I was completely shocked at the results that I saw . it was actually location a neighbor of ours who is across the street, Mathias . What the hell, that is not the first time that he has been in a scandal . I recall one of my neighbors one time sued him that he had placed cameras in his house and recorded s*x vides.

After that , he wanted to black mail him so that he would give him so much money .

“I cant believe this is happening . That jerk went to far. We have to do something .”My son in law who was more angry than a lion said . He was roaring and moving around the place like he was actually ready to hit any one who got to his way .

“I think we should go to the police . He has to pay for this .” he said still angry as he got hold of his jacket to head to the door but I was right in time to hold his hand so that he could not move any more .

“Please , you don’t have to do that . I think we both don’t want Amara to know about this and once you go the police, it will mean that she will be able to know this and so we might end up not yielding much from our struggle.”

His relaxation told me that he had actually accepted what I had told him. In fact , we were to do it in another way .
