I might be shattered, but I wouldn’t lose my dignity. Under Cyn’s scrutiny, the guards escorted me to the judgement room. I walked numb across the hall, my mind still hazy and my chest shattered. She was nothing more than a good liar, and I am nothing else but an i-diot. Of course she wouldn’t love a rogue, someone with innocents’ blood on his hands! I had already tried to mind-link Bianca over and over now that the wolfsbane wasn’t that strong in my system. I had to hear it from her — her words of rejection, her truth.
