Tracked

POV: Hope "EVERYONE I know has lied to me my whole entire f**king life" I shook my head as if to clear the ugly words I'd hurled at Tim and my parents. After I rushed out of the house, I turned around in circles trying to decide where to run. I took in huge lungfuls of air, gasping to catch my breath. Blindly I stumbled off my porch and headed for the little park on the other side of my neighborhood. I took the shortcut through the woods. I figured if anyone looked for me, they would take the long way, giving me time to clear my head. What the heck was happening? How could I be werewolf? A fairy? I chuckled. I think I'm a bit too large to be a fairy. I stumbled through the woods and found my favorite bench. I sat down and pulled my knees to my chest. "How could I be this clueless for this long?" I asked aloud. I looked around, not expecting an answer. "I've kept you shielded for your safety, Hope." Startled, I looked around again before I realized it was the voice in my mind. "Ah, so you are real." I chuckled. "I thought you were just my conscience. A voice of reason guiding me through life." "I'm not your conscience but I can be a voice of reason. And yes, I'm real." "Who are you?" "My name is Gabrielle and I'm your faery." "This is insane. I'm insane!" I rested my head on my knees. "I'm in the woods talking to myself about fairies and wolves." I laughed but I realized I believed what she was telling me. "You're not insane. This world is layered. Humans are just one layer, Hope. There are things that you will learn in the coming days that might scare you, but you must know that you're especially equipped to handle it." Gabrielle murmured in my mind. "Why was I kept in the dark about these so called layers?" I countered. "The Faery Queen and The Moon Goddess have bestowed multiple gifts upon you. Gifts that are sought after by others. Other layers if you will. In order to keep you safe, we've had to shield you until you come of age." "Yeah, but." I stammered "No buts! You're an extremely rare combination of gifts, my dear. Your mate is nearby. I can feel his wolf's distress because he can't sense you. I will unshield you momentarily but first I want you to understand. You can trust your mate. Trust your parents and your mate's parents. They were selected by both the Faery Queen and the Moon Goddess to guide and protect you. Trust no one else! " Gabrielle's voice boomed in my head. Jolted, I felt a surge of power. "Whoa, what was that?" "That, my dear, was me lifting a portion of the shield so that your mate can find you. Listen carefully to what I tell you. Your beast will awaken soon. The two of us will keep you shielded from other layers but you must grow into your power as soon as possible. Lean on your mate and trust the process." Gabrielle hurriedly flooded my mind with images. Overwhelmed, I rested my head on my knees once again. What I was shown explained a lot. I always knew I was different from my classmates but this was a whole new level. SNAP The sound of breaking twigs broke my reverie. I glanced around, my new senses on high alert. My eyes found Tim at the edge of the treeline. I lowered my lashes and watched him approach. He was so gorgeous he took my breath away. "Tim!" I exclaim. "How did you find me?" I stood and rushed towards him. "I'm so sorry I yelled at you like that. I...I want to hear what you were saying." Tim hugged me then scooped me like I was weightless. He settled me onto his lap. I buried my face in his neck. Once again, I heard the purring in my mind. "That's your wolf. She's close to waking up. It was necessary to suppress her all these years. Your family gave you very small amounts of wolfsbane. She's not hurt but she may be a bit groggy when she wakes up. Remain close to your mate and she will come around swiftly." Tim adjusted my bottom on his lap. I could feel his erection underneath me. The thought of it made my inner core throb. I rolled my hips slightly to get more contact with his pulsing d**k. It felt huge! "Ahh...Hope, we need to hold off on that." "You don't want to? I cleared my throat and looked at Tim. His gorgeous eyes shine brightly. I sense that he wants to but he's holding back. "Baby, I would like nothing more than to make love to you but I have to prepare you for your first shift. Let's get over to the pack house. The whole pack is gathered there. There are a couple of others who will shift for the first time. And just as I want our first time as lovers to be perfect, I want your first wolf experience to be perfect." Tim ran his hands through his hair. "Hope, I'm going to shift into my wolf. Don't be afraid. His name is Malcolm and he's going to get you to the pack house in record time." I watched as Tim slipped out of a pair of gym shorts. Until then I hadn't noticed that's all he was wearing. I mumbled something about his lack of clothing to cover my shock over his perfectly chiseled body. I splay my fingers over his pectoral muscles. "Oh my." I licked my lips. "I never realized you were hiding all of this under your hoodie." Caught up in my lustful thoughts, I didn't realize Tim was stil talking. His questioning look caught me off guard. I nodded, not even aware of what he asked me. I heard cracking bones and gasped as a large black wolf stood where Tim had been moments before. "Tim, you're beautiful!" I looked at the giant wolf and edged closer. Malcolm bowed his great head and nuzzled my face before covering me with sloppy wolf kisses. He spun around in circles and nipped my legs, pushing me forward. I finally caught on that he wanted me to climb onto his back. Grabbing a fistful of fur, I leaned down and whispered in Malcolm's ear. "Nice to meet you. I can't wait to get to know you." The wolf shook slightly then bounded for the trees. His dizzying run felt purposeful yet frantic. "This is awesome! I squealed excitedly. "I can't wait to run with you. Both of you." I grabbed more of Malcolm's fur and lowered my head to rest on his massive back. I must have dozed off because before I knew it, Malcolm skidded to a stop close to a huge building. This must be the packhouse. I slid off his back and looked deeply into his eyes. "Thank you so much. I know that we will be friends forever." I kissed his wet nose before stepping back and looking around. Tim grabbed the shorts from my outstretched hands, blushing slightly as I stared at his naked body. I didn't even hear him shift. My thoughts were abruptly shattered as the packhouse doors crashed open. "Hope!" "Hi Mom. Hi Daddy." I tore my eyes from Tim's beautiful body and ran over to hug my parents. Tim's mom and dad smiled at me as they rushed over to their son. "Tim. Glad you made it back son." His dad fist bumped him as his mom threw him a hoodie. After handing me a long white garment, my mom and Tim's mom hurriedly pushed through the doors. "Meet us on the training ground in five minutes." Mr. Harper yelled out as the moms dragged me deeper into the packhouse.
