POV: Tim
I stood in the hallway watching for my girlfriend Hope. Other students moved through the corridors but none approached me. Most nodded respectfully but after glimpsing my stern expression they kept walking.
"Hey Tim."
"Keep walking Erin. I'm not interested in you, so do yourself a favor and keep moving." I glanced over my shoulder at the leggy blonde staring daggers into my back.
"You know you should be with me. Why are you so wrapped up over that goofy girlfriend of yours? You know I'm ready to walk into the Luna role when you become Alpha. That dizzy twit Hope hasn't a clue!"
"Shut her up before I do! " growled my wolf Malcolm. I could feel his anger as Erin tried to move closer.
"Go to your class!" I barked at her without turning around. Her quiet whimper was in response to my Alpha voice. She had no choice but to obey. She bared her neck and cast down her eyes. "Yes Alpha."
I barely heard her as I glimpsed Hope's car. I started towards the entrance but I caught myself when I saw that her father had parked the car instead of entering the car pool line.
Hope and her father sat in the car for a few minutes. Even from here I could sense her unease.
"She's worried about something." Malcolm placed in my head. "She should be listening to her wolf but...."
"Don't start Malcolm! You know why she's been kept in the dark. It will soon be over and she will know the truth."
"Mine!" growled my wolf.
I chuckled as he began to hum and purr in my head. " Yes, she's our mate. But she has no idea what any of that means. Hopefully when she finds out she's been lied to her whole life... " my voice falters when I think that I might lose Hope.
"We won't lose mate."
"I just hope she's able to forgive all of us. Look, she's getting out of the car."
I straighten up and watch my mate as she hugs her father. When she walks around the car, I notice her body in the skinny jeans. Hope has the perfect derriere, firm and high. Her strong thighs fill the denim fabric like a glove. Her breasts bounce as she walks towards the entrance. Unaware that she's being watched, Hope looks like the Luna she's destined to be.
"Mine." purrs Malcolm. I can feel his pride in our mate as we watch her. The tightness in my heart is matched only by the tightness in my jeans. Both are close to bursting as I watch my beautiful fated mate step up to the entrance. She glances over her shoulder at her dad. I notice her stricken face.
I quickly mindlink her father. "Don't let her come back over here Tim." I ignore the fact that he didn't call me Alpha and focus only on our girl. "Don't worry, Beta Springs. I will take care of her. See you shortly."
I quickly close the link and grab her as she turns back towards the car. The smell of lavender and sugar cookies wafts towards me and my d**k twitches.
"Tim!" She swung her arms up and hugged me then kissed my lips and pulled me into an emply classroom.
"Whoa, what's gotten into you?" I eyed her nervously. I stared at her. "Miss No-displays-of-public-affection, can you tell me what just happened?"
"Shut up and kiss me, Tim." Wriggling into my embrace, she pulled my head down towards hers. Her eyes lingered on my mouth before softly pressing her lips to mine.
I felt Malcolm pacing back and forth in my head. I know he wanted to kiss her and more. "Now is not the time Malcolm. She doesn't have her wolf yet. Patience."
She deepened the kiss. Startled, I felt her delving my mouth with her tongue. Groaning, I wrapped my arms around her and passionately matched her thrusting tongue's rhythm. She started grinding her pelvis against mine. My d**k got rock hard. My eyes snapped open and I abruptly pushed her away. Malcolm growled.
"Oh my goodness Tim, I don't know what came over me." She crossed her arms over her chest, barely looking at me. Hope dropped her backpack to the ground, leaned forward and placed her hands on her knees for support. I could smell her arousal. Malcolm began panting in my head.
"Hope, tell me what happened just now!" Even to me, my voice sounded strangely frantic. I kneeled down in front of her as she struggled to stand upright.
"Nothing." she said shakily. "Can't a girl kiss her boyfriend?" She grabbed her bag off the ground and tried to push past me.
I swung her around with a force I knew she didn't understand. "Hope, talk to me. Tell me what you felt when you started kissing me like that"
"Geez Tim, it was just a kiss. Most guys would be head over heels if their girlfriends kissed them. Why are you tripping about this?" My groin got tight as I watched her grab a scrunchie from the bag and flipped her long hair up into a messy bun. "I'm going to class. I suggest you do the same."
She tried to move past me but I used my werewolf strength to hold her in place. Being that close to her and smelling her arousal was driving my wolf crazy.
"What the hell is an Alpha?"
"What did you just say?"
"I said I'm going to class Tim."
"No, after that. You asked what's an Alpha. Where did you hear that?" My eyes searched her face. What is happening?
"I don't know, it just popped in my head." She strained to free her arm from my grasp. "Tim, let go. You're hurting me!"
I quickly shifted my weight and relaxed my grip on her arm. "Hope baby, please listen to me. How long have you had things pop into your head? I rubbed my jaw but my eyes never left her face.
Hope wags her tiny finger in my face. She stood in front of me, arms akimbo. Her mock fury over something I'd forgotten was touching.
Sheepishly I grinned at her. My mouth opened and words flew out. I stammered trying to give her a plausible explanation. I stared at her beautiful heart shaped face. Her golden eyes held emotion and intelligence.
She gave me a sheepish grin. Her flushed face told me she was thinking about our promise to wait until her birthday to take our relationship to the next level
Shaking my head, I leaned down until I was eye level with her. I lifted a strand of her from her face and tucked it behind her ear. I asked her what she heard in her head.
Wide eyed, Hope just stares at me. Her golden eyes searched my face. She gulped and started talking about her conscience.
I can no longer meet her eyes. But I have to tell her something. "Umm, sometimes it's just your conscience but why would your conscience ask about an alpha? Isn't a conscience just the thing that tells you right from wrong?"
I could see the wheels turning in her head. Hope's emotions were always laid bare for me to see. I heard her murmuring about her mom's bones or something.
Realizing what I have to do, I sigh deeply, rub my jaw again and grab her backpack. I quickly mindlink her parents.
"Come on babe, I need to take you home. Hope, don't fight me on this. Let's just head to your house."
