Don't Leave Me

Chapter 12:

He attacks first, trying to swipe under my feet. I dodge him and bite down on his leg and take him down, “Oh, you’re feisty, I’m down for that.” He says licking his lips. “Then you’re going to love this part.” I was about to attack him when another rogue tackles and pins me down.

“Aaron, you know you’re not supposed to play with the women, we need them unharmed.” The rogue said standing over me. I kick him off me and was able to escape from underneath him. “Wanna play princess, we can play? Just don’t be sad if you lose.” The first rogue, Aaron, said. He attacks first again, I feel my anger rising and I lose control. I take him down, bite him on his neck and snapped it.

Oh, My Goddess, I just killed someone. I’m so distracted about what I just did; I didn’t see the other rogue coming at me. He bit me on my shoulders and on my legs. I try biting him back, but he is too fast, I can’t protect myself. He pinned me again, “He’s doesn’t like damaged goods but oh well I’ll deal with him later. James has been looking for you.” I see his eyes changing, he must be talking to whoever this James guy is.

“Who’s James?” I ask feeling weak.

In a blink of an eye, the rogue is off me, and I see a huge wolf devour him. He is the biggest wolf I’ve ever seen. Then I realize it’s Gabriel. I shift back into my human form. I try to cover up myself and I see Gabriel shift back as well. He runs up to me. “What did I say! I told you to wait for me inside. Are you okay? Where are you hurt?”

He’s asking if I’m okay? I can’t believe he’s concerned about me. “Y-Yes, I’m fine.” He helps me stand but as soon as I stood up, I felt weak and fainted. “Gabriel…” I say before falling into darkness.

Gabriel’s POV:

I kissed her… I can’t believe I kissed her. I need to shake it off, I must focus on the fight. The moment I step outside, I see fifty rogues running towards the pack house. I shift into my wolf and start taking down the rogues one by one. Soon, the pack warriors are helping us fight the rogues. I can see how fast and quickly they are able to kill them.

“My King, I just saw two rogues take off to the other side of the pack house.” One of my men, Liam, mindlinked me. “Okay I’ll take care of them, just make sure you don’t kill all the rogues. We need to find out why they are attacking and who is behind it.” Yes, my king.” I run to the to see if I can find the rogues.

As I go find the two rogues, I heard fighting. I looked down and saw one of them laying down, he’s dead. Then I saw the other rogue standing over of the pack members. I rush to help them, but then I smell her scent. No, it can’t be her. “Yes, its our mate. That rogue hurt our mate! He is a dead wolf.” Zane yells.

Without hesitation, I lounged at the rogue and tackled him. NO ONE TOUCHES MY MATE! I yell out. Before he could say anything, I ripped apart his body limb from limb. I turn to Arianna, she looked at me with horror. She shifted back to her human form and cover herself. I didn’t want to scare her more than I already did and shift back as well. I run and kneel beside her, “What did I say! I told you to wait for me inside. Are you okay? Where are you hurt?”

She looks so scared. “Y-Yes, I’m fine.” Oh, thank goddess she’s fine. I help her stand up, but she immediately fell into my arms. “Gabriel…”

“She’s hurt! We need to get her to the doctor.” Zane yells at me.

“My King, we have a few rogues captured. Alpha has them down in the dungeon. We will be waiting for you in the Alpha’s office.” My Beta, Noah, said. “That’s not important right now. Arianna is hurt. I need to take her their pack doctor. Ask Alpha Carlos where the hospital is at and meet me there.”

“Yes, my king.” Noah said worriedly. Please be okay my love. I’m right here don’t leave me!

Chris’s POV

My Father told me that were being attacked. I take off outside and shift. “Let’s kill these mother f*ckers!” Ace yells with hatred. I don’t blame him, we lost Arianna to the King and now I must deal with rogues at my ceremony.

My pack warriors are behind me as I start attacking the rogues. I killed all the rogue that try challenging me. I have alpha blood that runs through my body, there is no way a rogue will be able to take me down. We mostly killed all of them we did spare a few only for them to be interrogated.

“Son are you alright?” my father mindlinks me. “Yes, father.” I replied. “Good, meet me and the Lycans in my office. We need to wait for the King, and we’ll head to the dungeon.” I roll my eyes. This day couldn’t possibly get worse. I head to my father’s office, I enter, and I see 3 of the Lycans and my father. Somethings wrong. “Dad, what’s wrong?” he looks so worried, “The Lycan King asked where the hospital is…”

“So, he’s the King I’m sure he’s fine.” Wow, the King isn’t so tough after all; I smiled jokingly. “No, it’s Arianna… she got hurt. She was fighting off rogues while trying to protect those seeking shelter.” My heart sank into my stomach. Screw this, I sprint towards the hospital. He may be her mate, but she will always be mine. I need to know if she’s okay, she has to be okay!
