Hospital Stay

Chapter 13: Chris’s POV

I’m running as fast I can to the hospital. I have to know if Aria is okay. I ask one of the nurses where Aria is. “She is in the VIP suite,” as I headed towards the room she stopped me, “I’m sorry Alpha, the King asked no one to disturbed them. She needs to heal and to rest.” I growled at her. She lowers her head down as she sees how angry I am. I don’t care what he says, I need to see her.

I knocked on the door, he opened it and stepped out. I forgot how big he is compared to me. “I’m here to see Aria.” I stated. “You are not allowed anywhere near my mate,” he said. Mate… I can’t stand “Aria and I are dating. I planned on making her my Luna at my ceremony. She is with me!” I said with my Alpha voice. “Listen here, you may be Alpha, but I am the King. She is my mate; she will only love me! She will never be yours. You are not to go anywhere near her, am I clear?” he said with his much louder voice.

Suddenly, we heard screaming from Aria’s room. We both rushed in and saw her screaming and crying on her bed. We both go to the side of the bed. “What’s wrong, my love.” He grabs her hand; I roll my eyes. “Aria, it’s Chris. Don’t worry I’m here.” I grab her other hand then I hear him growl.

“Gabriel… Chris…” She said panting.

Arianna’s POV:

The pain from my head wakes me up. I tried to open my eyes but all I can see is blur. I hear beeping, I turn to see a blurry heart monitor. I heard yelling from outside, who’s yelling so loudly? I then see a blurry figure walking towards me, I screamed. Next thing I see is two bodies rushing towards me.

“What’s wrong, my love?” one of them said. “Aria it’s me, Chris?” I rub my eyes and now I can see who is next to me. “Gabriel… Chris?” They look relieved when I said their names. “Why did you scream? Are you hurting anywhere?” Gabriel asked me.

“I saw someone coming at me.” The turned to look at who else was in the room with me. “I’m sorry my queen, I saw you waking up and I just wanted to see if you were, okay?” Gabriel’s Beta, Noah explained.

“Oh, okay. Yes, I’m fine it’s just my head that hurts.” I see Chris about to reach for me, but Gabriel growled at him, and they gave each other mean looks. “What happened to the rogues? And did everyone make it to the cellular safely?” I asked them nervously. “Yes, my love thanks to you everyone made it there safely. And may I say you fought off that one rogue fearlessly.” Gabriel said proudly. That’s right I killed one of rogues. The images came rushing back to me, I bit him and snapped his neck. “What happened to the one that attacked me?” not remembering what happened after.

Gabriel strokes my hair behind my ear, “I took care him. He won’t ever lay a finger on you ever again.” He killed that rogue. He came over to protect me. “That is what our mate, he will always be there for us if were in trouble,” I hear Melanie say. Chris scoffed. “If you were there with her, she wouldn’t be here in the hospital.” Gabriel’s eyes turned black and so did Chris’s. Oh, goddess they’re going to fight!

“Stop it, both of you! I’m fine now and I want to go home.” I said trying to distract them. “Okay, I’ll let your parents that you’re alright. I’ll take you home.” Chris said. “Like hell you are. She is my mate and I’ll take her home. We have much to talk about anyways.” Gabriel said. I would feel better if Chris would take me home, but Gabriel is my mate. And he is right we do have a lot to talk about. “It’s okay Chris, The King... I mean Gabriel will take me; I’ll be safe with him.” Chris rolled his eyes, “Are you sure?”

“Yes, I’ll call you later.” He nodded then left. I knew he wanted to be alone with me, but I couldn’t I have a mate now. I heard Gabriel telling Noah to get the car and to wait for us downstair. He then handed me a bag,” Here are some clothes, I’ll be waiting outside the room when you’re done changing. I looked confused then I looked down. I don’t remember changing into a gown. Did he see me naked?! My cheeks began to turn red. I got off the bed and quickly changed. I went to the bathroom to check if I had markings on me. I looked all over, and I healed up quickly.

I open the door and I see Gabriel sitting down waiting for me. “Okay I’m ready.” I say to get his attention. “Great I know you want to go home but I can grab you something to eat before I take you back.” “No, I’m fine I just want to go home.” I tell him. We get to the car, and he lets me get in first. He sat next to me, I never felt so small in my entire life.

“So, I’m sure you have a lot of stuff and questions to ask me so please, ask away.” He says gracefully. “Oh, okay. How did I end up in the hospital?” He looked a bit sad when I asked him, “You tried to fight off that rogue but got he really good; you fainted after I killed him. I picked you up and ran to the hospital.” He carried me all the way to the hospital. Aw! Then I came to realize…

“Did you see me naked?” He smiled playfully, “Yes, I did. Don’t worry I was naked too so don’t feel embarrassed."

I can feel my eyes popping out of my head. He saw me naked! He was naked too. I can feel my cheeks getting red again.
