ON Monday, I got a surprising email from the Chamber of Commerce. It was an email letting me know that I had been chosen as a recipient of the Top 30 Under 30 Award. It's an award for businessmen and entrepreneurs below 30 years old, who are considered at the top of their fields. Apparently, Weaved, Inc. has been recognized as one of the top local businesses in the country.
I usually don't feel comfortable getting recognized, but I consider this recognition as a group effort. I picked up my phone and was about to call Joshua when I realized that we were not really on good terms at the moment.
I felt sad as I realized that I didn't have anyone else to share this news with. Joshua was my person. Now, we barely even talk. Our communication has been limited to emails.
