I stayed in the hotel for three days. I didn't even leave and just ordered my food in. I started getting restless and anxious because I was worried about work. I haven't been away from work for this long without checking my emails, and I am sure there's something that needs my attention. No one could contact me since I didn't have my phone with me.
I decided to finally check out and head to the nearest mall to buy a new phone, and a prepaid SIM card. I forgot to bring my laptop with me as well, and I really want to check my emails.
I went into a coffee shop to set up my phone. Once I opened my emails, I saw a barrage of messages in my inbox. I saw some from Joshua, but I decided not to check them.
I checked the emails from the office assistants and department heads. None
