Beep! Beep! Beep!
I woke up groaning, what a way to start a new day. It was first day of my senior year. I don't usually make a fuss over waking up every morning but today I was really tired. Doing a part-time job in a pub and at night isn't quite easy. Teenagers often come over, they get drunk and do some dirty things and some just dance with their girlfriends.
Yesterday night was worst than ever, I slept like about two am in the morning and now I had to wake up at five thirty. Three hours sleep wasn't enough for me. If you asked me why I wake up this early, well good for you that you will get to know about my life.
My name is Sareena Roy and I am 17 years old. I'm gonna turn 18 on November 6th. My life is horrible and I'm a not-so-popular kid in my school. I have a brother named Darren. My mother works in a restaurant. My father died two years ago. That's all you need to know for now.
I got out of bed and walked into my bathroom. I brushed my teeth and washed my face. Now the hardest part was that I had to clean my room since I didn't let anyone in my room, not even my own mother. I started cleaning my room and then made my bed.
After I was done with it I walked into my closet and started searching for a suitable outfit. I picked out a maroon hoodie with the number 96 outlined on the front in blue, a pair of blue jeans and a blue converse. Oh, how did I forget my blue tank-top. Wearing tank-tops are my favorite. They are so comfortable.
After I had laid the outfit on my bed, I walked into my bathroom. I stripped out of my clothes and stood under the shower, the warm water trailed down my body. After my hair were wet enough, I applied my vanilla-scented shampoo and then added some conditioner. I massaged the shampoo on my scalp and then rinsed it.
When I was done with my shower, I pulled on my bathrobe and walked out of the bathroom. I plugged in my hairdryer and dried my hair. I applied some cream on my face, you see I'm not a big fan of girly stuff and definitely not make-up. I put a cherry flavored lip balm on my lips since they often dry up. I pulled on my clothes and got ready. I left my honey-colored hair open.
I looked into my reflection, mainly I was staring into my reflection's eyes. They were deep blue which matched my personality of hidden deep secrets and sorrow. I often got distracted when I looked into my own eye, it gives me a review of my past. I put my light brown contact lens and then pulled on my hood. I picked my backpack and carried it on my right shoulder.
I exited my room and locked it. I know no-one will even dare to enter my room but precautions are better than regret. No-one was awake yet, it was showed six forty five on the clock. My school didn't start for another two hours.
I walked into the kitchen and picked one apple. I didn't eat breakfast and this one apple was for my lunch at school. I walked out of my home and shut the door quietly.I had to go to the breakfast cafe, the place where I go after school, to meet someone close. They were actually my father's friends and they are really nice people.
I entered the cafe that is owned by my father's friend. He is quite old and his wife is as well, but they are nice and kind not at all grumpy like some old people are. They were sitting at a table across from the entrance door. Most of the cafe was empty since it was too early. Only some employees were working.
I walked towards the table and sat down with them. I didn't start up a conversation because I didn't talk to anyone, anymore. It's a long story when I stopped talking to people, you'll find out soon. They greeted me and I replied with a head nod.
"So, your school has started?" The John asked me.
I nodded.
"I hope you make friends soon," he said an passed me a sad smile.
"Do you want me to make you some lunch?" The kind lady, who's name is Marie, asked me.
I shook my head. These people are very caring but I still didn't talk to them, I know its rude but what can I say. There are somethings that the world teaches you and somethings are forced on to you.
Whenever I talked about something it had a deep meaning that people often didn't understand. They would just turn their back on me and walk away. I guess they thought I'm a psychopath. We sat there in silence for a while and then I decided that it would be best if I left. I stood up to leave because I walked to school and if I didn't leave right now, I would be late on my first day.
"Best of luck for your first day of senior year." They both said together.
I nodded in acknowledgement and smiled very slightly. I left the breakfast cafe and started to walk to my school. Only some people were there. Some were out for early morning runs and some were walking their dogs.
