Chapter Five

I woke up with the beautiful singing of the birds, even if sometimes well all the time they are annoying but today I liked their way of singing. Damn I feel like Fiona and this is the scene where she sings with the birds.

I went immediately into the bathroom and filled the bathtub with warm water. I grabbed my phone and put on my ''showering'' playlist, it had calm relaxing Celtic music on it.

After thirty-five minutes I got outside, brushed my teeth and straightened my hair because after showering it always becomes bushy.

I put on a white blouse and blue jeans with short white All Stark's.

When I got on the bus, as expected there was Daniel by himself. But today there was a change, he didn't leave his backpack on the empty seat. I know he accepts me as his friend, but he doesn't want to say it.

''Hi Daniel!'' I grinned.

-''Oh you have come, it seems that I can't rest in peace even today.''

''Haha yeah, yeah I know you are at peace when you are with me. By the way, where are your earphones, did you forget them at home? Or you aren't in mood to listen to music?''

-''You ask so many questions At the same time. I didn't forget them, I just don't want to listen to music.''

''Oh okay, we can talk then. Let me ask you a question, Daniel do you have any brother or sister?''

-''No I don't I had once a sister but she died from cancer.''

''I am so sorry. I didn't know.'' I said while I lowering my head.

-''It's okay, I am used to it. By the way Carly, why did you come here in California?''

''My dad lost his job and he found a new better one that was in this town.''

-''Aha, you live in Chicago right?''

''Yes I have lived there.''

-''I have my aunt in Chicago. She has a coffee shop called ''O'luvia'' there.''

''Oh I know her, she is Carmelia White right?''

-''Yeah that's her.''

''Daniel?''

-''Yeah?''

''Do you have a girlfriend?''

He choked ''Where did that come from, no I don't I am free babe I am all yours. If you want I will come and pick you up tonight and we will have lots of fun in a hotel all night long'' he winked at me.

Damn every time he does this my heart skips a beat, he causes serious problems to my heart.

''Eww, disgusting and don't call me babe I am warning you! I really hate when someone calls me that, I am dead serious.''

-''Haha okay please don't kill me queen Carly. Please be merciful on me your highness.''

''Shut up you peasant! I'm thinking, well the best option is to cut off your tongue muhaha who gets the best laugh now'' I said while sticking out my tongue.

We both exploded in laughter, all the people on turned around and watched us.

Daniel got mad when he saw that they were looking at us, he was clenching his jaw and fist. But when I grabbed his hand and his expression softened.

''Leave them''

-''Why did u ask me?''

''Ask you what?''

-''If I had a girlfriend?''

''Oh, I asked you because one day Emily stopped me and told me to stay away from you and that you are her boyfriend. I knew that you don't date her, I mean look at her and look at you. You're thousand times better.''

-''That bitch..'' he looked outside, he was very angry.

Mm this serves Emily damn I'm so evil, but hey! Only for the bad ones.

We came off the bus and went inside the school ground together, I was shocked but I remained silent. He saw his g**g and waved at them.

-''Bye Carly.''

''Bye!''

When I turned around, Christina and Hanna were standing with open mouths.

Christina: ''Girl, you gotta explain everything!''

Hanna: ''Are you two dating?''

''I will explain you everything, now let's sit down somewhere.''

''Let me make this clear: We are not dating! We are only friends. You saw me asking that day to share a book with him right?''

Hanna: ''Yes, so what happened after?''

''Well...'' - I explained to them, every single detail.

Christina: ''I can feel a new love being born.''

Hanna: ''I can feel it too!'' she said while looking at Christina. They both grinned.

''Don't play around! But honestly, I don't know... I think I may like him. After all, he is really charming but I don't know, let the fate decide what happens.''

They laughed and when the bell rang we went inside our classroom.

We had biology, Hanna and Christina couldn't stop teasing me. They were whispering random things at me like:

-''Daniel is staring at you'.'

''He can't take off his eyes from you!''

-''U clearly can see the love in his eyes.''

''Love really makes you blind.''

And I exploded: ''Girls stop it or we are going to get a detention!''

Christina: ''Don't care about Mrs. Priece, she can't hear good she is old.''

Hanna: ''Look Daniel started writing, oh my God!''

Christina: ''He is writing a love letter for you, Carly.''

Hanna: ''You are so lucky, he is so romantic.''

Christina: ''You have hit the jackpot girl!!''

''Shut up'' I closed my ears using my fingers, they are my best friends but right now they are annoying me. The other classes went like that, I mean them teasing me.

When the last bell rang, after the teacher had left a boy came in and told us that Daniel was fighting with someone.

I grabbed my bag and went outside fastest that I could, I saw a huge crowd of boys and girls. I pushed my way through them and I found a guy laying down on the grass, he was all covered in bruises and blood.

I don't care about him! Where is Daniel? I called him out but no reply.

I ran towards the parking lot hoping he will be there, and he really was there, standing underneath a tree while smoking a cigarette.

''Daniel! Are you okay?'' I looked at his face with worried eyes, he had some b****y scratches.

- ''I am fine kiddo, don't worry.''

''Come here let me clean them.''

-''It's okay really.''

''No, no I will clean them.''

I opened my bag and grabbed Antiseptics.

''Stay still'' he obeyed me so I cleaned them without any problem.

''What happened? Why did u beat him up?''

-''It's not your problem.''

''Come on.. say it!''

-''No.''

''We are friends, friends share secrets, right? Now say it out loud.''

-''I am a vampire Carly.''

''Yeah and your brother is Edward Cullen. Too bad I already know.. now don't change the subject.''

-''Okay, okay I lost'' he throws up his hands in defeat.

-''Well the boy I beat up is Emily's brother. He had always hated me since freshman year, he envies me. So today he challenged me to a fight, and he got it.''

''Even if I don't know him I think that he deserved those bruises. Now come on let's go or we are going to be late for the bus.''

-''Okay'' He walked a step and he nearly fell, thankfully I was there so I grabbed him.

-''Thanks.''

''Can you walk?''

-''Yes I can, I am not a baby!''

As he said he was losing balance and I couldn't watch.

''You are a baby now come lean on me!'' he didn't wait for a second to pass and he leaned on me and he was smirking. It made me kinda question if he was planning on something.

Daniel's POV

As I was standing, she said that we will have to go or we will miss the bus.

Honestly, I don't want to leave, I want to stay with her alone she makes me go crazy. Her smell like chocolate and everything. Even if I was a huge skeptic when the others told me that the one you truly love, you can recognize her smell. As I was thinking, I thought that this is my one in a time chance so I made a plan in my head. To act like I couldn't walk.

As I made a step I acted like as I was falling, she grabbed me and told me to lean on her. I smirked this means mission successfully accomplished.

We got inside the bus, my seat was empty as always. But why?

Well, everyone knows me, and they know pretty well that the seat is mine. And sitting on it means a death sentence. But I am not heartless as I seem, I allow old people to sit down.

I stood beside Carly allowing her to sit down first.

Carly: ''It seems someone has taught you some manners.''

-''Manners were always there but they weren't showed to unimportant people.''

-''So you are saying I am important?''

I pretended that I didn't hear. I pulled out my earphones and put on my favorite playlist, I gave her one of the earphones she took it.

As we were reaching to her stop, I pulled the earphones.

-''Why did u take them off?''

''Carly can you take me home? You know... I can't walk fine.''

I'm not letting you go, Carly that easily, I am gonna play around with you more.

-''Okay, sure but first let me call my parents to let them know.''

When we reached my stop I got up, leaned on her and we got off. I am enjoying this more than I imagined, she smells so good I am getting addicted to her.

''Stop!''

-''What now Daniel?''

''Piggyback me!''

-''Are you crazy? No way I am doing that!''

''Please?''

-''No jerk! Don't ask me anymore or I am gonna throw you!''

''I weight one hundred and twenty pounds only it's not too much.''

-''What the... yeah sure it's not too much, you can take two other donkeys to keep you company. I can carry you all'' she pushes me off with a pissed look on her face, damn she is cute when she is angry.

I fell on the ground, there were people passing by they all were looking at us. Trying to understand what happened. I came with a great plan, I wanted revenge for what she did to me right now.

''Oh my beautiful wife leave me I don't matter just be careful for our baby don't let anything to happen to our baby. I hope you will find a better man that will love you and raise our child!'' I acted, damn with this scene, I can easily win ten Oscars.

-''What are you saying you are not my husband! And what baby? I'm not pregnant.''

People started whispering and gossiping. I could hear them say:

''Oh my God today you can expect everything from the teenagers.''

-''Look she is pregnant and is divorced.''

''Poor girl.''

-''That boy is very nice, I don't know how she left him.''

''Maybe the baby is from another man.''

Carly was flushed in red, she grabbed my hand tight and started dragging me.
