His Hidden World

Chapter Four

I got up energy less, I was so tired. Yesterday I stayed up all night watching One Piece that's what happens if you do anime marathon. I dressed up casually and went downstairs, my parents weren't there they only left me money on the table.

I was shocked for a moment but then I remembered. Yesterday they told me that they will be so busy in the upcoming days. That's what happens when you want to ''level up'' in your job.

Well bad news for me, I had to go every day to school with the bus. I ate, picked up the money put them in my wallet and went to the bus station. When I got on the bus Daniel wasn't there so thank God, I have one day free.

I couldn't wait to come in school I mean I couldn't wait to see Hanna and Christina. When I arrived they were waiting for me in front of the school gates. We talked like forever and I learned that I had all classes together with them expect Math, it's like a miracle! I also learned that Christina had a small brother he was still in elementary school while Hanna had a brother that is bigger than her, he was married and she had also a sister she was one year older than Hanna.

We went to the class and sat down chatted for a bit and then Mrs.Hathaway came in, she teaches us English. I accept that she is really a beautiful woman, well damn every teacher is beautiful.

''Class open your books, today we are going to read "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee'.'

I grabbed my backpack and looked for my book, it was nowhere to be found. I feel ashamed for forgetting it, but hold a minute this is my chance to get closer with Daniel.

''Mrs.Hathaway I forgot my book can I share it with Daniel?''

Daniel was looking at me with a murderous stare well yeah he probably wants to kill me but he can't because we are in class. *evil laugh*

-''Okay but don't forget it next time''

I nodded at Mrs. Hathaway and sat near Daniel, in the position I was I could clearly hear his breathing.

''Hello, my dear friend.''

Daniel: ''Shut up!''

''Yeah, I missed you too.''

- ''I didn't know that you talk with yourself.''

''I'm not talking to myself, I am talking with your inner self.''

-''Whatever'' he said while rolling his eyes so deep you could see Adele rolling on them.

''Daniel can you continue reading it?'' said Mrs. Hathaway.

-''What page?''

All the class broke in laughter but they stopped laughing when Daniel sent them a glare, they all are cowards. Daniel started reading, his voice was a melody to my ears it was so deep and sweet as I was thinking the bell rang. Daniel got up and left in a blink of the eye.

The classes finished so soon, I didn't even realize it. It all seemed like a minute or five to me. I said my goodbyes to Christina and Hanna and I walked to the bus station after five minutes bus came and I went inside.

It didn't have any empty seat and there were a quite number of people standing. I was searching for a free seat hoping, praying there will be one. And then I saw my hero.

There was Daniel sitting on the last seat, beside him was no one.

He probably scared others with his stare I didn't wait any second, I went near him I took his bag and threw it at him and I sat down. The bag was so light like it had nothing inside it.

-''What the hell are you doing? That seat is mine!'' he made some weird gestures.

I will call him Weird Gesture King, it fits him.

''What? Don't tell me I have to pay for this seat?''

He looked at me with a shock on his face but also he was very amused.

''I saw it free so why wouldn't I sit hmph'' I stuck out my tongue.

-''Get up kiddo! I don't wanna see you.''

''No! You can insult me and say everything but I can't leave my friend alone, even if he doesn't want to see me.''

-''And this so-called ''friend'' of yours is me?''

''Correct mm but we still haven't properly presented ourselves.''

''Hi, my name is Carly'' I place my hand in front of him.

He stared at my hand not knowing what to do, to accept my offer or no: ''Put it away or I'm gonna chop it off.''

''What a beautiful name you got Daniel, nice to meet you too!''

-''I don't have time for this'' and then he puts his earphones on.

''Hey don't ignore me, talk to me!'' he kept ignoring me. I was feeling like a little kid when his parents don't buy a toy when they want it.

I took away one of his earphones and put it in my ear.

He grabs it back: ''Yo, what are you doing!''

''I am going to listen to your songs, this is what close friends to right, can I listen to it? Please?'' I said while making a puppy face.

He smirks: ''Do what you want.''

I smiled so brightly at him, I'm sure people can get blind by looking at it.

PLUS SCENE - Not a part of the story but I decided to share it.

As I put on the earphone a song called ''Like a Virgin'' by Madonna was playing , I looked at him with open eyes and mouth. His cheeks were red like they were on fire, it was a very awkward situation. We didn't talk and stayed silent, but my curiosity wanted to know so I asked him.

''What is this?'' I ask him.

- ''Um...I...uh..''

And that is ladies and gentlemen how Daniels die and the cause is the embarrassment.

He had rock, indie types of music so I guess he likes them more.

When the song ''Highway to hell'' AC/DC came in, I started singing it. He looked at me and smiled.

Ashfghj his smile is so adorable, I held myself not to pinch him on the cheeks.

By the way, this was a rare smile, never seen before. Yeah. I have never seen him smile, he is always smirking or being serious.

We listened to music and after ten minutes we came to a stop he pulled out his earphone and mine.

Daniel: ''Um, I have to go''

''Okay bye, see you tomorrow''

He was just three blocks away from my house, hmm interesting.
