His Hidden World

Chapter Eight

Daniel's POV

The alarm rang and I got up only to turn it off, I'm not a morning person so better be aware of me. My mother never wakes me up because one time when she woke me up I shouted to her and almost punched her while I was sleeping, trust me I didn't mean to do that but that's what happened.

Katherine was really sad after that, I did apologize to her she is the only woman I love, she cares for me, protects me and gives me love. Without her my life is meaningless.

You see... I Daniel Skarsgard hurt the persons I love the most, I hurt Carly even if I didn't want to. It's over, I think I lost her. My heart aches so badly and my eyes water upon the thought of her leaving. She has a special place in my heart.

After ten minutes of doing nothing, I got up from my comfy bed and put on my black pants, shirt and jacket. Grabbed my backpack and went downstairs, my father was there, as usual, sitting with a newspaper on his hands reading. My mum was preparing breakfast, she was making omelets.

-''Good morning dear perfect parents!''

To others, this may seem weird but this is my habit of morning greetings, they have done so much for me and I'm very thankful. And they really are perfect to me.

Richard: ''Good morning my boy.''

Katherine: ''Morning Dan, how did you sleep?''

-''I slept like a log'' well this wasn't the truth, I didn't sleep at all only 15 minutes. I can't stop thinking about Carly last night and what's going to happen to our friendship.

After I ate breakfast, I got up and went outside to the station to wait for the buss, hoping to see Carly. Please, Carly, come! I replay this sentence to myself hundred times.

When I got in the bus, she wasn't there nor sitting nor standing nowhere to be seen. My heart got upset, did something happen to her, did she do something to herself, I just needed to see her if she is okay...

The bus arrived at the school, I got off and went immediately to Carly's classroom to find her. She wasn't there... I asked her two friends that I have seen her with they didn't know either, it seemed like they were lying so I asked him for the second time with an evil look on my face. They told me Carly had called them last night and that she was very sad, and after that, they haven't heard nothing from her, they were also so worried.

I couldn't wait any more minute, I called a taxi told him Carly's address and then called my mates to tell them that I wasn't coming today, that I had something to care of. They were okay with my decision, well, after all, I wasn't asking for their permission. They can't stop me even if they want to, I'm stubborn.

When I arrived in front of her house, I took a deep breath and rang the bell.

Her mum opened the door.

*''Daniel what are you doing here?''

-''I have come to see Carly.''

*''She told me not to allow anyone to come see her. She doesn't allow me either, even if she is sick.''

-''I'm not anyone, I'm special! Now please Mrs. Probst, please let me in.''

She laughed: ''Okay here come inside, her room is upstairs the first door left.''

I ran towards the stairs and after knocking, I went inside her room like a storm. Carly was laying on her bed coughing when she saw me she got up in a second. Carly look as she didn't have any energy left but surprisingly she was strong, she is suffering because of me.

''What the heck are you doing here Daniel. Get outside now!!'' she was still mad with me and her face was telling me that she is hurt emotionally by my prank yesterday.

-''I am not going, I am staying here!'' I sat on the bed, crossing my arms. Just like a stubborn kid that want's something.

''Daniel I don't want to see you! Leave me alone!'' Carly was like a pissed cat.

-''Are you okay, I heard that you are sick.''

''Oh yeah I am sick and with temperature but also very good, I can jump on the bed, dance and after you will go I'm planning to go run on the streets like that other day.''

-''You have a temperature? Damn Carly stop playing being strong before me, lay down!'' this girl makes me go mad. It hurts to me seeing her in this state, she's like this because of me...

''Daniel you don't have to care about me I'm gonna be fine, now go'' she looked away.

In this moment the door opened and there was Carly's mother standing there with a smile on her face.

*''Kids, I have to go something came up. I'm sorry for asking but Daniel will u take care of Carly?'' she asked me with a pleading expression.

-''Of course Mrs. Probst what is that question, I would take care of Carly just like a personal doctor would.''

*''Oh and dear stop calling me Mrs. Probst I feel like old lady, call me Isabelle.''

-''Okay Isabelle.'' Isabelle smiled at me like and mouthed me ''have fun'' and got outside.

-''Looks like you are stuck with me'' I smirked at my victory and stick out my tongue, Carly huffed.

I kept talking to her about my funny past and I made her mad like hundred times with my pranks and jokes on her. Guess she was annoyed by me...

After long hours her mother came and I heard the door shut, we spent some minutes of not talking, so I finally decided to open my mouth and to say her her everything I was thinking about. About my emotions of seeing her hurt and all. About what was happening to me and why I did that. But I won't gonna tell her absolutely everything, I am not gonna say to Carly that I like her. I will never do that!

-''Carly, I am so sorry about that yesterday, I didn't want to hurt you. I never meant to hurt you, I guess my prank went too far this time.'' she didn't say a word, but she listened to me so I continued.

-''This is why I don't want to be friend with others, I always say or do something that will make others go away and leave me. I didn't want this to happen, but yeah guess this is my last goodbye. Bye Carly'' I got up from the bed and as I was gonna take a step, she grabbed me.

''It's okay. Daniel stay!'' I was surprised to what she said, I turned my head towards her and looked at Carly with wide eyes and mouth.

''I am not gonna leave you, and don't you dare leave me you jerk! This is not your last goodbye and there won't be any last goodbye between us. You aren't disposing of me this easily!''

From the happiness that I had inside of me. With all my strength I hugged her, damn I'm lucky for meeting her. I guess she isn't like others, she won't leave me like others did and definitely, she won't hurt me even if I did hurt her.

''I can't breathe!!'' I released the hug, my cheeks got hot like they were on fire. My cheeks are on fire, my cheeks are on fire, they burning like on fire. I started singing my own version of ''She's just a girl and she's on fire.'' Don't judge me that's an amazing song! Not everyone can sing that.

-''So friends forever?'' I grinned at her putting my pinky finger in front of her.

''Friends forever!'' she wrapped her pinky finger around my finger, with doing this we made a deal. Deal with the devil! Muhaha *evil laugh*

She gave me her best smile.
