Wilfred Dunhill became concerned about his home property after the search. He was fearful during the search one of the cops might find an entry into a tunnel or find entry into the basement hidden in the shed/barn. His sense of concern heightened with the words of Sgt. Atherton ringing in his head. That one, Wilfred said to himself, is one to reckon with. Wilfred wanted to preserve his intimate, designed system. If the cops found his tunnels, his basements, his schemes and his guilt would be open to view. He thought it prudent to acquire another piece of property and a home in which he could store some of his equipment, and some or all of his devices.
