Wilfred Dunhill could not mistake the sound of the helicopter fly over his property. He had no idea why the police would do that, but he assured himself that it was the police up there. Wilfred thought of "the police" as the bomb squad and as the Homicide squad. To him those squads were pros. He knew, from newspaper reports he had seen in the past, that Tom Leivas was a military hero that was the "guts" of the bomb squad. Wilfred also knew, as a result of Will"s visit to his home, Atherton was a member of the Homicide unit. He wondered if he could get personal information about these people, so he drove to the Phoenix City Library the next morning after the search.
