Congo’s eyes widened at the woman’s introduction. He didn’t know if he was shocked at the fact that he was standing in front of his mate’s parents, or if it was the fact that these two knew of the paranormal world. What he did know was that he had not made a good first impression on two people he knew meant the world to his mate, and that had to be rectified. Sparrow shoved Congo to the side, anxiously asking, “Mom. Dad. What the heck are you doing here?” His mother raised her brow, saying, “Sparrow, you haven’t come for family dinner in damn near a month, and you haven’t returned any of our phone calls, or texts.
