The email arrives at 6:12 a.m.
I’m already awake.
Sleep has been unreliable lately. Too many moving pieces, too many calculations running constantly in the background of my mind.
When the notification appears on my phone, I know immediately it won’t be routine.
Messages from the board never arrive this early unless something has gone wrong.
Or someone intends to make it go wrong.
I open the message.
The subject line is simple.
Emergency Shareholder Meeting Request
My jaw tightens slightly.
So it begins.
I read the rest of the message slowly.
Arclight Holdings has formally requested an extraordinary shareholder vote.
