Almost every night since the day I almost drowned, I used to go back to the ocean in my dreams.
Sometimes I remembered the nightmares, other times I did not.
It was always the same thing. I would be screaming under the water, trying to swim my way out. I could take the saltiness in the water and how everything hurt as I sunk to the bottom.
I still believed that it was only through a miracle that I was saved that day.
