Tori's POV
It was one of those days when I could not feel my lower body because of how round my stomach had gotten in such a short span of time.
I wobbled toward the kitchen cabinet, placing the vegetables back in the pot and allowing them to steam.
It had been three weeks. Three weeks of not hearing from any of them. Three weeks of not knowing if they were dead or alive.
The urge to burst out of these walls and go back to look for them was one that kept me up most nights, but I still stayed. For the sake of Kylian-and because his mother swore to the goddess that they were fine, just busy.
