Tori’s POV
All I could do was to pray. I entwined my fingers over each other as I prayed for Adrian to be on my side.
The door opened and all the policemen stood up to greet him.
Collins rushed to him to fill him up on everything that had happened, but Adrian wasn't even in a rush.
He casually glanced at me, before allowing Collins to say a few words to him.
Monica was right behind him, and she looked pretty impressed with herself.
Adrian walked up to me and observed me like I was a monkey in the zoo.
I thought he would be boiling in rage when he saw the way I was treated, but he was pretty chill about it.
“We have everything, filed, Alpha.” The Chief said. “She stole a whole lot of money from you, sir. I don't think she should be allowed to go scout free.”
