I could almost not explain to her just how much it infuriated me to see her with someone else—especially if that someone else was Damian.
It did not matter how many times I flashed her the warning signal; like a stubborn child, she always managed to find her way back to him.
Maybe she wanted someone to date. Maybe the breakup with her husband was beginning to take a toll on her. So I could help her—become her little dating toy while she stayed away from Damian.
