Project AC-303-Part 3- The Creation.

After a quite quality time with the professor, as he taught more and more about life and gave me some valuable lessons, we were just smiling and laughing at the same time. We were telling funny stories of our lives and actually the professor had had quite an amazing life with lots of experiences. He used to say that in our time things were more simple, and we used to experience many things in our own ways, we did not have to worry much about anything, we used to do our own research, travel the world and go to unexplored places without even worrying a bit. And that is why his generation as he said, was better than ours. Because we were all the time worrying about this and that, worrying about social media, worrying about how we look to other people and we are more egoistic than ever. In his time, as the professor said, there were good things, but also bad ones. 

But at least, they were not this egoistic to one another, they loved the things they did with each other and he said that he remained friends with most of the people that he knew since he was a little boy. I wonder how life must have been back then. I mean, I am back 5 years in the past, I have time travelled but it has always been a big question to me on how the 70s or 80s looked like. Were these years the best years as most old people now describe? It reminded me of my father saying that those years were the best years as a teenager, years like that will never come, he always says to me. But I still wonder how these years are better than our? I mean we have the technology, we have the knowledge, we have the freedom to go wherever we want in the world. But the professor and my father had the same answer about this question, times were simpler back then and the people were better. I still do not understand that. I wish I could have travelled back in time there, in the 70s or 80s, but probably I am doing quite good in this universe, at least. I mean in the 70s or 80s there would not have been the professor or Ms.Scott and the technology would have made me be stuck there. It will still remain uncertain to me, but anyways, I am glad that I met these people in this reality, time traveling is good when you are able to control it, but I am not capable of doing that. And I hope that whoever experiences a time travelling event, will be able to control where and when to end up.

After quite a long time, we received a call from Ms. Scott. He told us to come to the office. I reminded the professor that two of the events might have ended by now, so it was nothing to worry about. We were ready, maybe to progress to stage number three after this call. We went back to the office and before Ms.Scott said anything, I started talking.

-”Excuse me, sorry to start first, but I have something to say. I really apologize for my angry behaviour before. It has been quite a hard time for me, with lots of ups and down and emotional rollercoasters. But I have to admit that I lost control over my emotions and my feelings and they took the worst out of me. But that won’t happen again, I swear. I promise that I will be listening and working hard, just to make this project a reality. And I know you are trying to help us, so besides saying that I am sorry, more than that, I would like to say that I am very thankful to you for taking your time to help us and give us a hand to make this project a reality.”

   Ms.Scott did not say anything. He was just silent, and gave me a quite beautiful eye to eye moment. I am a good eye reader and at that moment I saw that he appreciated me a lot for what I just said even though he did not say anything at that moment. As the professor told me afterwards, Ms. Scott had said that he liked me and I was a very nice person. Even though he did not express it at that moment, he told the professor that he liked me, and I was quite a smart person. Rarely do you see, he said, people that apologize with that kind of purity. The professor told me that this was one of the most major facts that convinced him that I was right and I was telling the truth.

-”Okay. I understand what you said.”-said Ms.Scott at that moment, even though afterwards he said the best words for me, which I will never forget coming from a person like him.

-”So you told me that on 2nd of July, there is a sports event that happens. Your father has always been a fan of the German National Team. And they had to play a match today against Chile and they would win as you said. And the match is over now. You added that also a funny and weird goal is going to be scored.  So, they did play against Chile today, they beat them 1-0, winning the Confederations Cup. Exactly as you said, and the goal was scored in a weird way. So for this you were right and that's a fact that is going to be registered for further use.You can bet on that as much as you want if you want too. I am not telling you to become a bettor but that will happen and I know it for a fact. Also today they declare the EBOLA outbreak somewhere in Africa, I think it was Congo you said to me. And the world will have a terrible time with EBOLA you added. But EBOLA will be nothing to a pandemic coming years later and a big lockdown of the world. So it will be the outbreak of the EBOLA and most of the people will start to get worried especially in Africa. So this is also an event happening today. So you said these exact words to me some hours before and added that you remember it because your mum was always discussing daily events happening. And once again, you were totally right. I have also added this to the document I am preparing here. Until now, you have been fully honest to me, and as much as I can see out of this, you have predicted everything perfectly. That has convinced me. I have to be honest. Maybe it may be once luck, or twice, or three times, but now we have to test you with a polygraph test. It is called the lie detector test. I will bring it here on my old friends, the professor knows him too. He is called Ms. Leka, he will be the one that will do some tests with you. So if you allow us to perform these tests on you and examine a little further, it would help us a lot in our project development. And meanwhile my friend, can you call your son and his friend to bring the device here and all the papers explaining how it works. I will probably need them to add more facts to the papers here.”

 Well first of all, Ms. Scott asked me about my permission. That made me feel so good about it. Because then I realized that he had faith in me and I had turned the tables around. So now I would feel more comfortable in his presence. Second of all, I gave a look to the professor to also get a confirmation from him if I should perform these tests or not. And he just shook his head, in confirmation of the words that Ms.Scott had just said. My heart was beating quite fast, but I was more secure because of my conversation with the professor. And he gave me the strength I needed. So I responded:

-”First of all, thank you for asking me. I am a little scared but I will perform these tests and to get what information you want to get out of me. I have only one thing to ask from you, if I do not feel comfortable, I would need some time to relax and go back. That is all I am asking from you. I will try my best on these tests.”

-”Good to know that. And I give you my word that none of these things will happen and I will be looking all the time to make sure you are doing fine. As much as I have now, I think we are on the right track of finalising this project and putting it on work. But I will need the young boys to come here and understand how this device works and how I can help you develop it more and be more truthful to the other scientists. That is all for the moment. You may take another break. I have to call Ms.Leka now.”-said Ms.Scott.

   This gave me a good feeling that we were on the right track of putting this project on work. His words gave us a feeling of confidence and I could see that the professor was so happy about it. I could see that on his face that he was so relaxed and happy at that moment. But we had to make sure that Luis knew that the project was on the right track, we did not need anymore drama as before. We waited a while for the boys to come. Meanwhile the professor said to me:

-”I told you, you just have to be nice with Ms.Scott and do the work you are meant to do. That is all. You did a great job there. You listened to my words and put them to work. You just made proud, so proud of you. And we will both make sure that you do not have to worry much about anything, just focus on convincing them and giving them the facts they need to know. For the rest, I promise to you that me and Ms.Scott would take care of them. Moreover you are going to like Ms.Leka too. He is a great person.”

    Mr.Leka was actually a great person. But that is a story to be told another time. We waited for the boys to come and you could see the enthusiasm on Luis’s face. 

-”It is my turn isn’t it? My heart is beating so fast. At first, when I built this device, I built it out of passion and determination, but now that I am on this stage, oh, you have no idea how I feel”-said Luis as he was moving around all the time.

-”Listen to me Luis. No screaming, no offenses, no loud voice. Do your part as I have told you to do. I do not want any incident there to happen. We are already in the last stages of our project development, and you do what you have to do. Convince him with facts. And Nick, you are the one who is going to sit next to Ms.Scott. Everytime Luis says something, you are going to give him the paper where that thing is written. And try to explain it to him in a few details if you can.”-said the professor.

I took Luis with me away to say a few things to him, as I felt as I had to do that.

-”Luis, listen, do not expect from Ms.Scott to be very cooperative with you. I made a mistake when you guys were not here and almost ruined the project if it was not for the professor. So please be as cooperative as you can and leave your pride out of this. You are going to succeed, I believe in you. Just please do not explode. Or we are done. Do what you do best, and tell them about your masterpiece.”

I think these words gave Luis the motivation he needed to go on. Ms. Leka had not arrived but we had to move on. It had already been almost a day, so I do not think Ms.Leka would arrive anytime soon. 

When we entered the room, Ms.Scott had already put a chalkboard in there to make it easier for Luis. And you could see Luis’s enthusiasm when he shook Ms.Scott's hand. He was just unstoppable at that moment.

-”Hello, Nick, good to see you again, every day you wake up more and more and remind me of your father. And you must be the mastermind behind this device right here. Luis, I reckon. It is a pleasure. Now what are you going to tell me about your device? I want to know it all, give me your facts.”

And Luis started talking passionately about his device. Luis developed this device while in College, but later on, he perfected it, and made it more modern. As I understand from his words, he said that the device collects all the data needed and predicts quite faster than the whole device available on market. And how does that device do what he needed to explain? This device works with high probabilities and mathematical equations and graphics. This device first of all works with the giant satellites on the atmosphere, collecting all the data and the images from them. After collecting all these data, this device is such a smart device to collect data even from the past years of the history and put them in an analysis together. After analysing all of them, the device gives you a percentage of where this space object will end up and when. It also gives you the speed of moving, how the planets evolutiate, how the universe changes, it also gives you a prediction, an accurate one for many years into the future. So it is as complex as possible. I will never remember most of the mathematical drawings that Luis used to draw. He always explained things that way and never did I understand what those things meant. Luis just kept on talking and talking while Ms. Scott was listening without even flinching. At some point, he stopped Luis and asked:

-”Interesting device, I presume that this device is the next generation predictor. I have the files here and as much as Nick explained to me here, this is a masterpiece. I mean, a brilliant masterpiece. And you are the genius behind it. But I can not understand something and I would like you to explain to me. How will this asteroid hit Earth? What does your data show? How will it affect life on the planet?”

-”It will end the human race as we know. At first this object will be created in between a collision of AC-303 with one of the space objects. During this collision, there will again be two big particles in space. So again we can not prevent the collision from happening, it is already an 100% event to occur in the near future. What we can prevent is the small particle of AC-303 to hit our planet. That is the only thing we need to stop right now. At first, when we first made our calculation, I saw misleading information on our device. And that confused me at first to be honest with you. But it led to the fact that none of Martha had said to me will ever become a reality. But I have added a support mechanism to my device which will perfectly report if any big event will happen. I was expecting it to work at first, when Martha told me about her story. But it did not work. And I thought that it was broken. At the time that we started collecting an unimaginable amount of information, it started breaking down and just making that weird noise. At the same time we had the servers connected with it and information was being printed all the time. I thought that was a bug. Maybe that was data from previous months that was not uploaded. Because this device has not been perfectly tested. Even though I am the creator of it myself, there are some unexpected things that happen during the process of development that you never know. This idea actually came from one of my professors in College, he used to be a mathematician and a physician and he used to tell us stories on how he tried to create a device such as this to predict events, especially space events from happening, in a faster time and more than 95% accurate. And personally, I liked this professor a lot and never missed one of his lectures. He had tried plenty of times to develop a device such as this but he had failed due to the fact that he had not had much time as years passed to focus on developing a device like this. I got all his papers actually and started to build it step by step. What I added the most to his project were the support levels on the device and the energy accumulator. One risk that this device may have in the future is the problem of not managing his energy and failing to accumulate all the datas needed. So I added a modern support line to this device so it would accumulate all datas we need at that specific moment of time. And it actually worked with this project. It would have broken down if it was not for these support lines that I have added to that. But at first I was confused when it started making the loud noise as I thought it was about to get broken and work no more. That was my first thought actually when it started making the loud noise. But after all the information was printed and we saw the results I understood that this device was perfectly developed. It may need a hand or two to make it a little bit better but at least for this event, the device’s accuracy is perfect. As you can see from our calculations on the papers, at the same date as Martha has first told us, also the device says the same. Coincidence? I do not think so. And to make it more interesting, the device also shows the trajectory and the speed of that object approaching our planet. After the collision, the particle will move a small speed for the moment as it will need to get more energy to keep going. At the moment, it is not meant to hit Earth. But it accumulates a high energy level from the collision and it will lead to a change of trajectory. The speed will increase and it will start approaching in the direction of our planet. The problem in this, is the fact that we do not have many opportunities to build something to fight it back. Or we won’t have much time to do so. Because you will get the information in a few months from now. But we have added the science developments to the device and it shows that if we start acting now we will have a bigger chance to survive. If we finish this year without doing anything to prevent it from happening, we are done. All of us. And there would be nothing to save us all. Just a miracle. That is why we were in a rush to come to you. I am still confused by my device though. I would have never thought that I would build such an amazing device. Never. And it was never tested until this major event. I know you may get confused and not trust me a lot, but I swear that this device is perfectly fine and works accurately. And I hope it gets tested by your team, and to let me know if there is any more change that I need to do on it.”-said Luis as I was personally shocked in a good way by what he had just explained.

There was a moment of weird silence in the room. It was only Nick and Ms. Scott communicating in a distance with each other as Nick was trying to explain something to him. Maybe he was trying to convince him. Meanwhile I could see how happy Luis was and how confident he was feeling. He seemed emotionally drought but he was hanging on tight. And I could see that he was trying his best to hold his emotions to take the best out of him. 

-”Thank you Luis. Let me say a few words to you. Personally, in a technical way, I think this device is a masterpiece. I told you before and I am going to say it now. It is a big masterpiece. Nothing that we have seen before. But in terms of accuracy, I am not sure. But I trust the technicals, I mean who would have thought that someone would be able to build a device like this one. This is the revolution of modern science as we know. But I need to get more people to get it tested. But I am telling you, you have the license for this device. No one will take that away from you. I need more people to take a look at it and give me more specific feedback about it. And I am telling you, Do not get worried about anything. It will not take a lot of time. I just need them to check the files and all.”

-”So, my friend, what do you think about all of this? I mean do you have a general idea or a final decision to give to us?”-said the professor.

-”Look my friend, at first I was way sceptical about it. When you first told me about a major event that would destroy our planet I was like, my friend has gone insane. But Martha convinced me a lot. Luis was perfect in the technical analysis. Nick explained in terms of science perfectly to me. This is the best you could do about it. And I think that 90% I trust you. And I am convinced to take it to the next phase of development. You have seen me all the time writing things down in some papers. Well in these papers, I am preparing the final document that will be taken to the people above me, to give us the permission to use all of their laboratories and equipment. This will allow us to get more scientists around us, the famous circle of the best scientists to find a solution about our project. There are not only NASA scientists, there are going to be doctors, mathematicians and so on. But this circle of scientists will help us a lot. That is why I need the recordings, the voice record in here and these papers. I will make sure I make a copy of Luis’s papers too.”-said Ms.Scott.

-”So what will happen next? How will the work be separated and what do we have to do?”-asked the professor.

-” In this project, there are many difficult situations that we are going to face. Do you know why I mentioned the circle of scientists? Because they are the only people that can help us. We need to make sure this information does not go public in any form. I think you might have thought to yourself my friend, what would happen if this project goes public? It is the end of the world before it really happens. The economy, the countries, the industries will collapse. So the first thing we need to make sure of is this information never goes public. Never. Until a second decision. Now at first we are going to perform a lie detector test on Martha and some other health examinations. Because we need to make sure that even if she has time travelled she is in perfect health conditions. Because we have not seen a case like this ever in our history. So I will bring Mr. Leka in here. He will perform the lie detector test. On the other side, I need Luis and Nick to take the device to the Valentine Brothers. These two people are most known for their research in the field of predictional devices. They are part of the circle I was talking about before. So I do trust them a lot and they will help us make the device better and predict more things in it. On the other side my friend, me and you, are going to talk to the government people. We need to talk to the president in person and tell him what is going on. But not now. We have to wait to make all the documents ready. When they are done, we are going to meet him in person, to make all the countries ready for what is about to come next. We need some funding and money for this project. There is already a huge project on building a spaceship that could destroy space objects that would be a threat to our world. But to do that, you need permission first, then money. Well one country would not offer all its money to save the rest of the world. They will make sure that this project remains unknown for the rest of the world until further notice. They won’t allow them to lose all their money or put the world in collapse. They know how to save themselves too. So at first this is all you need to know. I hope that we are in time to do something. It is going to be hard. I am not going to lie to you. Every day that will pass will become more and more intensive. Each day will become harder and harder until the final moments. And there are going to be many obstacles and hard decisions in our way. I need you to be fully concentrated on this, put all of your effort in here and remain strong together. After today, we enter a new era of this world, the era of saving it. And it starts from this office and will go on until it is completed. That is all I have for you now.”-said Ms.Scott as we were all shocked and silent. 

I had to wait for Mr.Leka to come. He was the person that was going to perform the examinations on me. When Mr. Leka talked on the phone with Ms.Scott, he asked him if he could perform health examinations on all of us. We all came to the agreement that he could do something like that. If it was for the good of our project, we would do it. As the three musketeers say:” All for one and one for all, united we stand, divided we fall.” We all had already sacrificed a part of our lives. And we were about to sacrifice even more from our lives. But when the reason for doing this is much bigger than we are, It does not stop you from doing it. We had to save the world, for the good of us, for the good of the human race.
