The background of Mr. Leka
Mr. Leka sat me down and decided to tell me his life story. Although I wasn't prepared for everything, it really showed what kind of a smart and brave person he'd become. Mr. Leka was born in 1983 in a village in the Kosovo-Mitrovica district in modern day Kosovo. He was the second oldest child in a family of seven: his parents, then his older brother, him, two younger sisters, and the youngest brother. The Leka's were a big family, and quite a happy one. But like most families in that area, at that time, they were also quite poor. So poor, in fact, that his father had to work three jobs and his mother two, just to be able to keep their kids from starving.
