Chapter Three

Dressed up after the call with Derek, I carried some noodles inside my back pack, sliding the kitchen knife into the side as I ate the morning food I had prepared beforehand

'Derek would love to have me bring over some noodles for him' I thought as I knew they were always strapped for cash over there and expecting to eat at his place was less likely and insensitive on my part

Got out the house as I locked the door behind me, 'mom must have got her keys' I thought leaving the walkway into the street

Town here was so much different from the city mom and I moved out from, it was a lot quieter and gives me time to think, I smiled, today may be a nice day

Town here was unofficially divided into three part, the side where Matilda lives was a place for the rich as one is sure to see exotic and luxurious cars anytime one walks around that side of town, with beautiful houses and mansions all filled both lanes

While my side was for the middle class and average families with a dependable income, on the other side of things was Brookline this side of town is called, and I have just entered into it now

The street are dirtier than usual with dirts littered everywhere and unscrupulous people hanging around the streets, I smiled, 'there's some life to such a place' 

Derek house was still a far distance apart as I walked along the main street, strangely enough I find it a bit interesting walking along this side of town as I look around at so many things that catches my interest

Walking for some minutes at the main road that cuts through this side of town i could see a lot of things and people that caught my interest, more like to be researched, studied and probably controlled, I smiled at this

"Ouch…" Could feel that sensation, my mind is going into an override mood and it's a nice sensation, tingling in a way, - flashes of fire - runs through my mind as I now walked in a dizzying array of movements

"Oh s**t…." Could not recognise where I was as I felt my staggering movements, 'what is happening', could feel my lips long for the taste of that red liquid that always comes from pain. -flashed of blood dripping- 

' It have started, my mind is at it again,' can't control it when I comes like this, I could faintly feel I was still on the path to Derek house but now slower, distracted, compulsively attracted to strange things as u bow my head and walk forward

"Hey boy, anything the matter?" I heard a passerby asked me as we went the opposite direction

"Mind your business old man" my voice went

He sighed and continue on his way, my hands already on my bag pack as I slowed down a bit to see what the old man may do , but he just continued walking his way, 'lucky son of a b***h' I heard my mind say

Continued walking with my head slightly bowed and my hood was already up, covering part of my face

Then my eyes caught something as I slightly looked up to the road, a fair beautiful young girl in a red dress Wow

Couldn't take my blurry eyes off her as she walked crossing over the road and entering one of the inner streets

My direction changed, as I started heading towards the street where she was heading to

She looked to her right and saw me coming her way and immediately looked off and she continued where she was going to

Trailing her in the back, with my head still bowed I could sense her not far off

Now I think she have noticed I am following her as she have been taking glances to her back with a worried look on her face

'why that look when i am just admiring her beauty and her beautiful dress' my mind thought as my foot continued trailing behind her

I must have increased my pace, I really don't know, but I just feel I was drawing closer to her but looking up she seems like she's running, am I running too?, Who knows,I could feel a faint smile on my face as the red figure before me attracts my whole life

Anticipating the path she was going to take I broke off into another street and I could faintly feel the wind against my face, 'seems like am moving a lot faster now' as the thoughts of the red figure engulfed my mind

The path I feel myself moving through the wind was a bit narrow and had a lot of shade as there were a bit tall buildings on both side

Reaching the pint that leads to the outside street I felt myself stopped and looked to the left side, still on heavy short breaths

Seeing the red figure now coming towards my side, my mind shivered with pleasure, 'shes coming to me, wow, that's nice, thought she was just moving to away from me a few moments ago, now she's coming to me, this is wonderful'

'Why is she looking back and acting scared?, Am here my dear red damsel' my mind went as my hands traced itself along my bag pack searching for something

'She's close now, I know she would come to me, she must really want to be with me' my mind wanders a bit deeper as my right hand now had a grip on the kitchen knife from home

'is this a gift for the red goddess, wow am a genius, how did i know I would be giving someone a gift, how lucky of me' I could feel my left hand strongly grabbing the red damsel' as my right hand holds the kitchen knife against her neck

"Quiet now… Quiet now…, Am here to save you from this world" my mouth went
