Nina POV

I was awoken by the sound of my alarm. As I opened my eyes, I discovered that I was late for work.

I quickly started getting ready because I didn't want to face my boss's problems in the morning.

My name is Nina Carter. I am from a poor family. My mother died immediately after giving birth to me. I work in a club as a waitress to take care of my blind elder sister.

I think that's enough introduction for now.

I ran to the club and checked my time. I saw that I was 25 minutes late. Thank God my boss was not yet around.

Luca POV

I was getting ready to go to the office when I heard a knock on the door. I opened the door to find one of the maids there.

'Your dad wants to see you,' she said.

Immediately, she said that, I knew the reason why he was calling me.

He had been disturbing me to get married, but I was not ready.
