The Alpha Mate

Chapter 1

It’s hard. It’s hard to be the unwanted pack member of the Blood Moon Pack, even if I am the Beta’s daughter. I have beautiful hair that goes down my waist. I am not a tall person but I hold my figure well for the most part anyways. But there is only one issue, I haven’t shifted yet, I was supposed to shift on my 18th birthday, but while the other members of my pack shifted into beautiful wolfs, I stayed the same. I was considered weak and moved down to the omega status. I was bullied every day, was beaten by the Alpha and my own family couldn’t even bare the site of me. They hated who I became, but I honestly couldn’t blame them I even hated myself. But a little hope still stayed within me that my mate would come and save me and take me away from this horrible place. As I was deep in thought I suddenly fell hard to the floor, the pain shot through my body. I look up to see the angry face of my Alpha, Alpha Jake. His blood red eyes shot fear through my body, he stood taller than me his muscles stood out from the tight shirt he had on.

“Answer me mutt, what are you doing in my office? And keep in mind your answer will determine if you can leave this room alive mutt” Alpha Jake said. But I was so lost in fear I didn’t hear him which only made it worse for me because I am now no loner laying on the floor, he picked me up and pushed me to the wall while holding his hands around my neck. “I said answer me mutt!” Alpha Jake said with such hate in his tone and face. “I am sorry Alpha Jake, I didn’t hear you” I said while keeping my face towards the ground not wanting to anger him more by me looking at him in the eyes.  “I said tell me why you are hear mutt!” The Alpha repeated once again. But this time I replied as fast as I could in hopes he would let me go. “ I was just cleaning your office sir, I was told to come up and clean it while your gone away for your meeting with the other Alpha’s” The Alpha gave away his hold on my neck as I gasped for breath and hopefully a fast way to escape. “The meeting place has changed and now will be held here. So I want your ungrateful life out of my pack house and to go scrub the dirt outside and do your work with the rest of the mutts is that clear?” I could only shake my head yes as I ran out of there, thanking myself as I still had my life.

Not long later I could hear cars pulling up in the driveway. No doubt that they where the Alpha’s who was meeting with Alpha Jake today. I knew better then to get anywhere close to them as I couldn’t stand another beating since I barely made it out with my life the last time, I was around an Alpha. So, I made the choose to stay in the tree line in hopes to go unnoticed. I watched closely as the Alpha’s got out of their cars and made their way to the pack house but suddenly, a smell hit my noise. It was different, almost a weird musky smell but I dismissed it and figured it was probably the smell of the wolfs working out in front of me.  I had soon fallen into deep slumber while laying on a tree, forgetting the world I lived in as it was harsh beyond words.

                                                                        Alpha Josh pov:

As soon as we arrived in the pack territory of Alpha Jake, I had already gotten a uneasy feeling of my stay here. Hoping this meeting would not last any longer than what it must. A line of cars followed behind me, as other Alpha’s was also supposed to be at this meeting to work on the alliances of our packs. We couldn’t keep going to war each time we turned around, we might be the strongest pack out there, but we take taking life’s as a hard choice but one we will do if we must. I soon arrived at the pack house or what I assume the pack house, it was rather small compared to my own and I got out the car. But as soon as I did, I got hit with this smell, one that any male would go crazy for. A sweet smell, almost like fresh honey in the air around me. My wolf went crazy screaming “MATE!!” “MATE!!” But it couldn’t be, I am past the age of 25 which I was already supposed to have found my mate and make Luna of my pack.

But what doesn’t make sense is why here? Why this place it gave off this vibe off hate and not trustworthy. I was so assumed by this I almost forgot what and why I had come to this pack in the first place. I stood straight making my height bigger then Alpha Jake and walked up to him. “Hello, I am Alpha Josh of the Night Walker Pack.” Alpha Jake walked up to Josh with his Beta right behind him. “Welcome to the Blood Moon Pack Alpha Josh. This is my Beta Nick, if you need help with anything please don’t hesitate to ask” Josh just nodded his head but gave his Beta a stern look. “You must be tired from your travels.” This time the Alpha was addressing everyone. “You will be shown your rooms while you stay here, and you can freshen up. Dinner will be served around 6:30pm.” Once the Alpha was done his guest was led away to their rooms.

                                                                                Alpha Jake pov:

He tried to reach out to Katy the one who he thinks is the worthless mutt to come up to the pack house and help prepare dinner for the Alpha’s. But she wouldn’t answer, his anger grew more by the second as he has realized why he hasn’t killed this girl yet. She doesn’t serve really any role other then the beating bag. The Alpha soon picks up on her sent and follows it to the tree line where he finds a sleeping Katy. His anger was to much at this time he pulled her up from the ground as Katy woke up screaming as she was now up against the tree. “Why must you anger me more mutt!” His voice powered over her tiny body as she was now shaking with fear. “I should beat the life out of you, but your saved tonight mutt as your help is needed in the kitchen. And mark my words mutt, if you put one toe out of line and mess with any of the Alpha’s tonight will be the last you see. Am I clear?” He said as she could only reply with “Yes Alpha.”

                                                                                    Katy pov:

I ran as fast as I could away from the Alpha crying. As soon as I hit the pack house, I got hit with the smell again, but this time it was stronger. But I had to ignore it as I wouldn’t want to anger my Alpha anymore then what I’ve already done. I soon made it to the kitchen where I was put to work as fast as I arrived there. There was so much to do but only so little time and my mind was going 100 million different places then what it needed to be at the time. My only favorite place in the pack house was indeed the kitchen. I know a little weird, but it was a way I could express myself, since I couldn’t really do much else besides stand there and watch. I’ve always wished my mate would come and take me away without my pack knowing. At least I would know for sure they wouldn’t just by how they treat me. I’ve always wanted a family to be loved again but as I grew older, I knew the chances of that ever happening was a million to one if that.  So I began my work…

                                                                                Alpha Josh pov:

I enter my new bedroom to see if rather small almost feels like a prison. But no matter what the room looked like I couldn’t keep my mind off my mate, who I didn’t know who she was. I could picture her though, but I would take the surprise away from being shocked when I first held her and kissed her soft lips and then mark her as mine. Just the though was making me want her even more, then it hit me. That smell! “MATE!!” “MATE!!” my wolf cry’s so happy for her to be so close but wanted more. I could smell her in the building, her sweet sent drove me crazy. It made me wonder why she hasn’t been looking for me as I was surely crazy about her and so was my wolf. It was almost time for dinner to be served when I got off my phone and made my way to the dinning hall. Her sweet sent drove me even more crazy as it filled the room. I took the seat across from the Alpha Jake, “I’ve learned many times to sit next to another Alpha.” the Alpha thought to himself.

With a clap of Alpha Jakes hands dinner was served. The food smelled wonders, as it filled the room. It was all going good till I smelt her again and this time it was close as in very close. Not even a minute later a young woman walked in, her head held down as she made no eye contact submitting while plating everyone’s food. You could clearly see she has been beaten beyond any normal werewolf could handle, but she wasn’t a normal werewolf. As she came closer all the sudden my wolf took over and walked to her making everyone in the room stare at us “MATE” he says as he pulls her in closer the fear written all over her face.

                                                                        Katy pov:

Mate?!? He can’t be, no, no, no, no! This isn’t supposed to happen, I was a horrible site to whiteness as I didn’t want any man touching me after what I’ve been through. I looked over to Alpha Jake and saw him starring at me with the look to kill then I turn to look at the man holding me. I took a few steps back from him and told him that he must have made a mistake that I am without wolf and not worthy of a mate even one of an Alpha. I take in my fear and look the Alpha straight in the face and said “ I am sorry Alpha but you must be mistaken, I am a omega and don’t have a wolf I am not worthy of your love nor anyone else’s love. So please sir, will you remove your hands off my waist as I must get busy with my work.” The look of shock washed over his face along with all the others when I left the room in such a rush, I forgot to finish serving the food. “If the Alpha wasn’t going to kill me then well, he sure is now” I thought to myself as I ran as far as I could.
