    We woke up the next morning, unaware of the damage outside. It was dark when the storm hit, so no one could see anything. I rolled over to feel on the other side of the bed. Where was Ryker? The windows were still shut, and it was completely pitch black in the room except for a small light radiating from a night light in the bathroom. I rolled back over to my side of the bed and took a look at the clock. It was 10 in the morning! I must have been tired, I'm usually up by 8 or 9.
