John sat quietly, holding Layla's hand. A strange peace had come over him; the anxiety and fear of a moment ago were slowly fading away. Layla looked at John with tired eyes and smiled softly.
“You were very scared, weren't you?”
John smiled a little and shook his head.
“Yes… very. But now it feels like I've received the happiest news in the world today.”
Layla closed her eyes and said softly,
“We're going to have a small world, John.”
John was silent for a moment. Then he gently placed his hand on Layla's forehead. All the memories of the past few years began to flood his mind one by one. Meeting her under the tree,

After a while, a nurse came to see Laila. Then the doctor came too. After checking everything, he assured her that everything was normal, but that Laila needed to rest for a few days.
Laila slowly sat up. John immediately came over and helped her. A strange look of care and love was evident in his eyes.
Laila said softly,
"You were up all night... get some rest."
John smiled and shook his head.
“No, I don’t feel tired anymore. It feels like I have a new strength inside me.”
Laila looked at him.
“You will need this strength,” she said jokingly.
John laughed too.
“I know. We have a lot of work ahead of us. Many dreams to fulfill.”
Outside the window, the sunlight was spreading little by little. The beginning of a new day, and the beginning of a new chapter in their lives.
John held Laila’s hand tightly. He knew that no matter how many challenges lay ahead, they could overcome anything if they were together.
