John looked at Leyla in silence for a moment. Mixed feelings in his eyes, depression, love, and some unknown pain. Slowly he said to Leyla in a soft voice, “Why didn't you sign, Leyla…?” Leyla kept her head down. His eyes filled with tears, a silent pain. After a few seconds of silence, he sighed in a soft voice, “Because… it's all over. I still can't believe it, John." A light breeze was blowing through the windows of the corridor. In that moment free of sound, two people stood side by side, but between them there was an infinite distance, an uncovered wound and an unknown pain. The lawyer saw John in the corridor and raised his hand and called, "John Babu, will you come after a moment?" John looked at Layla. There was a strange silence in Layla's eyes. Without saying anything, he slowly moved towards the lawyer. The lawyer said in a low voice, “Look, John, there is still time. If you both want this divorce can be stopped. Think carefully." John was silent for a moment. His eyes turned to Leyla. Meanwhile, Leyla once looked deeply at John. In that view, there was no word, deep pain, the shadow of a lost dream. Then he slowly turned around, taking the corridor out, towards the road. John remained still for a moment. The chest felt like a sudden emptying. Layla's shadow disappeared outside the door silently. Layla was walking, where to go, what to do, she could not decide. The sky is covered with clouds, a light breeze is blowing. He had tears in his eyes as he climbed the stairs of the court, but now it seems to have dried up. John didn't know what to do in the courtroom. Silently he looked at the lawyer. His eyes filled with the reflection of Leyla's face, the first meeting, the smile, the days spent together. After being silent for a while, he suddenly said in his own voice, "Where did Layla go?" The lawyer was slightly surprised by John's dilemma. John quickly left the courtroom without delay. He came out and looked around, but found Leyla nowhere. People are moving, the sound of cars, the crowd of shops, everything is the same as before. The world has stopped just for Leyla. Leyla stopped in front of a park while walking. He went inside and sat on a bench. Small children were playing in front, their smiles reached Leyla's ears. The chest twisted. The words flashed before my eyes, John's solemn voice: "Leyla, you will never be a mother again..." Suddenly tears fell on Leyla's cheek. The chest is heavy, the mind is sad. All in all, the world is fixed. John walked out of the courtroom and headed towards the house. Seeing the lock on the door, his chest heaved. Where did Leyla go? Thousands of questions began to circulate. Without wasting a single moment, he started looking for it. At every street corner, in a few familiar places, in the park, he looked everywhere. But Leyla was nowhere to be found. Slowly the fear of the unknown surrounded him. Did Leyla go somewhere with great difficulty? Or sitting somewhere alone? John was walking. He felt like the world was going on as before, but for Leyla it all stopped. The sound of the surroundings, the car, the words of the people, the children's laughter, everything is now like a distant shadow. He is alone, and Leyla is far away, invisible. The clouds in the sky soften and cast a random shadow. A golden light mingled in the air, but did not give John the warmth. Leyla's silent gaze came back to her mind again and again. Lost faith, unresolved pain, unknown path, all in all, the heart is breaking. He thought that maybe Leyla was sitting somewhere, and maybe completely lost. John did not understand how to find him, how to fill this empty life again. At every corner of the road he stops, looks at every street, finds on every park bench, but has no fruit. Finally, John realized that he had nothing left now. Leyla's shadow is far away, memory is now just in front of my eyes. But he's not giving up. He knows, somewhere, somehow, to find Leyla. Leyla's tears, her silence, their lost days, all reminding people that this pain will disappear in time only. But until he finds Leyla, the heart will not be calm. John's footsteps are now echoed in loneliness. Light sounds in the air, the noise of people, everything is like a distant story. His heart says, "Whoever gets lost, he can be found." And John went out in search of that, hoping to find a way even in the dark. Every moment for Leyla is now a goal, an invisible promise. John knows, maybe pain, maybe uncertainty, but he won't stop. Because the heart never lies.
