“Why didn’t you tell me she’s coming over!??”
I had to pull my phone off my ear away when my boyfriend yelled on the other line.
“How would I know!?!”
I raised my voice in response only to nod apologetically when I saw people looking right at me.

I was still at the university.
“Didn’t you just tell me she told you yesterday she’s coming to see you!?!”
My boyfriend reminded me of my mishap.
“I didn’t think that she would mean it. I thought she was just joking. She’s a thousand miles away from here who would think that she’d travel that far just to talk to me!?!”
I don’t tell Apollo about the talks I had with his mother and decided to just sleep it off thinking that she was just bugging.
