Chapter 1

A man dressed in a black overall with gloves and a black mask with a firm suit shoe came in from the kitchen door Becca left open after taking out the trash a while ago. They were all in the sitting room and only a brown haired man was in the bedroom wrapped in a blanket sleeping.

he opens each bedroom quietly and checks to see if anyone was in but he only saw a cat and he strangled it before it could make a sound, and as he walks on the corridor with the heels of his shoe stamping on the tiled floor as he took each step and as he dragged the dagger on the wall slowly trying not to create a scene, they were all in the sitting room watching a horror movie with the volume high up, that way they felt the chills of the movie, suddenly Clare stood up "mum did you hearing that?

it was from the TV darling you can go to bed if you're terrified.

He tapped Scott to accompany him to the bathroom saying he was scared but rather he yelled at him to let him be, Kiara told Becca to accompany him to use the bathroom.

She accompanied him and as she waited for him outside the door she was chatting in front of the rest room then she yelled at him to speed it up and there was a sudden black out Clare got scared and ran out of the bathroom without zipping up his pants, the power came back on and they all continued watching their movie,

Scott stood up to go get water to drink, he got to the kitchen and opened the freezer to get a cold water put noticed the freezer switch was off, he decided to go into his parent room to get the water, on entering the room he saw a man on top of his dad strangling him and his dad was trying to scream for help, Scott got frightened and dropped the glass cup and it scattered on the floor and the man looks at him and then stabbs his dad on his chest with the dagger he held, then he walks slowly towards Scott and as he wanted to scream,

the man grabs his collar and told said "if he screams or tell anyone what he saw, he would come back for him and clear out his family". He left him and took a chair close to him and broke the glass window and jumped out.

They all came running as they heard the broken glass sound, when they got to the room they saw their father murdered in cold blood and Scott was at the corner of the room shivering in fear, Becca rushed to him to ask him what happened but he could not utter a word. Kiara cried her eyes out as she watched her husband die completely she placed her hand on his chest where the blood flowed heavily and told him "she must find who did that to him and she must make the person pay".

She turned to Becca that was questioning Scott " let him be he is too terrified to speak".she picked up her cell and calls the cops, they rushed down to the address she sent to them, the cops moved the family away from the crime scene and carried the body away, a cop approached Kiara and told her to take the kids to a friend's place or one of the relatives that they are close to, he allowed her to go in a take some stuffs they need for at least a week or two.

She went close to her kids with tear in her eyes, she gave them a squeeshy hug " don't worry my angels the cops will find who did this to your dad and they would bring him to justice". She gave them each a bag filled with their belongings.

She told them they were going to stay with their uncle JOSH until the police wrap up the case, an officer walked toward them and called the mum over" get a cab and take the kids to a safe place and come back, we might need your help"the officer said to her, she took the kids to JOSH house and told him to watch over the kids and she would explain everything when she gets back.

She stopped a cab that drove her to the station, she saw the officer that told her to come back so she went over to him" hi I am stiles wife" she said " ma,am thanks for coming, please sit" she sat down " do you have any details regarding your husband,s occupation?"

"My husband is a retired persecutor and he sentenced one man who killed his wife to 7 years imprisonment with hard labor and since then he hasn't persecuted anyone again" she said. The officer asked her if she knows where her husband kept his files from each offender he persecutes," ma,am it seems like your husband has the record of the man he sentenced and that could be the reason for his murder" but she had no idea because her husband was a secretive kind of person and does not disclose any information concerning his work.

Then she recalled seeing him one day after she got out of the bathroom, she saw him keeping a file in the upper shelf in a cabinet that only him has access to and he always kept the key with him so the officer asked some other officers to escort her to the house to search for the key, when they got to the house she stood close to the door trying to think where her husband kept the key," what could stiles be hiding and where can I find this key" she stood still thinking for a while then she stared at her wedding picture continuously and she noticed a black clip, she went closer and found a lock she raised the frame and a part of the wall opened up and she saw a hidden safe,she looked quite shock.

she had no idea about the safe she tried cracking the lock but couldn't get the numbers correctly , she stopped for a while to access it , then she went to her makeup desk a opened it brought out a detective powder.

she poured some on her palm and went closer to the safe and blew powder on it and saw finger prints directing to four digits which was 1289, she tried cracking it again while the officers stood and watched her, she recalled Becca's birthday year was 1982 she tried it and the safe opened and she brought out the key and some photos and recordings of the victims and offenders of his previous case, the officers collected it from her and she took the key to the cabinet she saw her husband keeping the documents, she opened the cabinet but it was empty.
