Two Birds One Stone

Chapter 4

The next morning I wake up to AJ’s arms wrapped around my waist. After a few seconds, I close my eyes again and drift back to sleep. After a few hours, someone starts to shake me, saying my name. I open my eyes to see AJ looking down at me with an expression on his face. “ Are you ok? You started to cry in your sleep.” AJ says looking worriedly down at me.

“ Yea I’m fine. I was just having a nightmare.” I say as I pull him to where he is laying down beside me again. I lay my head on AJ’s chest and we both fall back asleep. In the morning Luca wakes us up By screaming in excitement.

“ You guys are so cute together! When is it gonna be official?” Luca says as he walks into my room. I look at AJ with a small as if to say sorry for the way Luca is acting. He just looks at me and returns the smile then looks up at Luca.

“Hopefully soon,” AJ says looking at Luca then back down at me. I looked up at AJ, shocked at his reply to Lucas' question. Finally, I come to my senses and smile at him and then start to get up to shoo the boys out and get dressed.

Once the boys are gone I walk to my closet and pick out a blue backless top and a pair of black holy shorts. I walk to my bathroom and turn on the shower. Once I turn the shower on I quickly brush my teeth and get in. When I get done taking my shower I get dressed and do my hair. I decided to straighten my hair today since I would be turning in my application and booking for a backup job. Once I get done with my hair I move on to my makeup. I do a smokey eyeshadow look with winged eyeliner and blood-red lipstick. Once I'm done I go to my closet and pick out a pair of sandals with blue and black studs on them.

Once I’m done putting my shoes on I grab my application and go to the kitchen to fill it out. It takes me about an hour to fill out the application with the boys’ help. AJ volunteered to go with me so Luca can stay home and relax for a while. Luca of course agrees without a second thought. Once AJ got the okay to go with me he went to get changed. While I wait for AJ to get done I put my shoes on and read over my application.

Once I get about halfway through my application AJ walks out of his room ready to go. He walks up to me and asks if I’m ready to go. As we walk out the door Luca yells for us to be safe. “We will.” Aj and I both yell back before walking away from the house and towards the restaurant.

After a half-hour walk, we finally make it to the restaurant. When we enter the store I walk up to the cashier and hand him the application. After a few seconds, he finishes reading over my application and looks up at me. “ Okay, you will be getting a call in a few days to let you know when your interview will be.” He says looking at me.

“Okay. Thank you.” I say, giving him a small smile. I wave and turn around and start walking to AJ. “I’m ready to go,” I say once I reach AJ. He grabs my hand and walks out of the building. As we walk down the street AJ lets go of my hand and turns around while coming to a stop.

“ I want to show you something. Hop on my back and close your eyes,” AJ says as he turns around and kneels so I can get on his back. I hop on his back and close my eyes. I feel him stand up and take off running like I weigh nothing. After what feels like forever Aj finally sets me down very carefully. A few seconds later He tells me to open my eyes. “ Angelina I know it has only been a few weeks we have known each other, but during these few weeks, I have fallen hopelessly in love with you. Will you, Angelina be my girlfriend?” AJ says while taking my hands and placing a black square box that would be too big for a ring to fit in it in them.

“ Of course I will be your girlfriend AJ!” I say looking at him with a huge smile on my face. Seconds later HE sweeps me up in a hug spinning us around in a circle. Once he sets me down he opens the box to reveal a bracelet with a set of keys. He unlocks the bracelet and puts it on my wrist.

“This is to show all the other men that you are my girl. “ AJ explains to me with a smile. I stand on my tippy toes and kiss his cheek. After a while of sitting there enjoying each other’s company. When AJ realizes the sun is setting, we start to head home.
