Not knowing how to reply, Mallory nodded and fell into step beside Ryan who led the way back towards the cave entrance. She waited until they were far enough away from the wandering souls that she hoped they couldn’t hear. “What if it isn’t enough time?”
“We’ll do the best we can.” Ryan slipped his hand in hers, momentarily tightening his grip. “It should be enough. It shouldn’t take us too long to find someone who sells tree leech mist.”
Danae came alongside them. “An alchemist should sell it. Or at least know where we can purchase it.”
