Mallory sighed as the conversation went back and forth. Brodie voted for the treasure hunt while Callum suggested caution. Esben didn’t want to stay behind, Ninette was willing to watch the wagon and Emica only wanted to go if she didn’t have to sit around guarding the wagon. Jorgen, Danae and Ryan mostly remained silent. Mallory sighed again. She didn’t know what to do. Esben’s arm wasn’t healed yet, Ninette was a fairly low level and a demonic dungeon sounded extremely dangerous considering how little they had. “We need better gear.”
Brodie gestured in the direction Deneg had taken. “His treasure hunt will give us better gear.”
“If we survive long enough to buy better gear,” Mallory said. “And we can’t leave Ninette on her own. Not at her level.”
