Jax POV The longer we stayed in the bunker, the more it felt like I was suffocating. Lucy and I hugged each other and curled up on the floor together. It felt a bit safer with Lucy and I comforting each other, especially since it felt like time had stopped and the wait was unbearable. We all jumped when there was a knock at the door. “It’s over.” We heard the Alpha’s voice from the other side. “You can come out now.” Tanya opened the door and threw her arms around him, her relief that he was okay evident for everyone that was watching them.
