The sound of clashing weapons and grunting men drifted down the open walk way as she approached the training grounds. The Overlord was engaged in a training session with two of his Clansmen. Zara went to a stone bench and sat down to watch the match.
The Overlord struck one of his men hard and he fell, while the other jumped him from behind and wrestled him to the ground. Zara gasped in fright, concern showing on her face, but her true feelings she had hidden in the room that Fareesa had created in her mind.
