My voice cracks the silence of the corridor.
Ethan stops walking. His boots scrape against the stone floor. He blinks at me. His hands twitch at his sides.
"Alpha?" Ethan asks. His voice is too quiet. "Sir, the morning meeting just ended. The trade agreements are already signed."
"I do not care about the signed paperwork," I say. I step closer to him. My chest rises and falls hard. "Listen to my words. Buy out all their assets at rock-bottom prices. Use force if you have to. Then get Lucas and his entire family out of this city by tonight."
