I held the book in my hands and I felt the apprehension grip my heart as I stared at the cover.
“Well,Are you going to read it?,” Jess asked with an expectant look on her face.
I locked eyes with her, I was nervous my hands trembled as i stroked the cover in with my fingers,
”What if?,” I said cautiously.
“What if what? You have your wolf now, don’t you”, Jess said, I saw sudden concern flood her face as she reached for my hand.
I nodded seeing her sigh of relief
“You worried me then”, she said, slumping back in the chair, letting out an exaggerated sigh that I couldn't help but laugh.
