Lisa’s Pov
The words hit me hard, the feelings I had were of no mate yet they overwhelmed me just the same. This was my sibling and I hadn’t even known. If I had had my way then I would have mated with him. The disgust and outrage filled my bones, I could feel my body shake and with that my legs trembled.
Sudden strength I didn’t know had surged in me as I lunged towards Hawkins and started hitting him with my fists.
“You're lying!”, I yelled as the tears of anger flooded me.
“Stop that”, Harris shouted.
I was too angry to listen to him, Hawkins wasn’t small, but I was and the terror he had once struck in my heart had vanished as I launched my attack.
I dodged each hand of his that tried to pin me back from striking his face.
