Liberty’s Pov
The images felt so real, I knew then that this was far from over. When Jake had arrived I had told him what I saw and he tried so hard to calm me down and make me see that it wasn’t real. I spent ages explaining that I had this before when I saw them attack him and hurt him. That it may have happened to him but the pain I still felt as if a knife was in my gut.
He had pleaded with me for some normality for even just a second but I refused to listen. I was super focused on finding Hawkins. I knew I would not settle until I had found him.
Jake had got frustrated with me, I felt his frustration ripple within me and he had stormed out of the packhouse.
