I woke up still feeling the dull ache in my head in a room I did not recognise and unlike the room I had been in, this room had everything that a bedroom should have. There were no bars on the window, the door was open and I was free to leave. The pounding in my head meant I couldn’t but still it was progress from the damp mattress on the floor. “She's awake”, Jess called as she entered the room. I rubbed my head feeling the pound from every word she said and pulled the cover over me. I heard her laugh as she walked over to me, “Lib, you have been asleep for 2 days, you must wake now,” she said calmly. I scrunch my face, how I had slept for two days. I sat up abruptly checking my arm but it had already healed and only a small mark of the drakos pack remained. Carissa snore
