I knew I should have taken the car but something inside wanted me to walk to get away from the suffocating thoughts I felt. I knew I hadn’t slept in days and that my paranoia had started to feast as I sat in that kitchen not long ago doubting my sister Jess and Beta Milo.
Each interaction they made, each comment they said I couldn’t shake the feeling that they were hiding something, I could feel Zeus' fur shake agitatedly so I did the best thing and left however now I was in the middle of this wood on my way to the Alibi to meet Lisa.
I needed sleep. My mind was a mess, yet since Liberty had run I just couldn’t close my eyes, each time I saw her eyes afraid just burned into my soul. I balled up my fists angry at the images that formed in my mind.
